i think allot of people are taking this too much as a competition between skaters and skiers when the point is really just to show how much the two can benefit from each other.

Agreed. Just because hating on rollerblading is "cool" doesn't mean skiers have to get in on it too. We are just as lame as rollerblading!! But that's why both sports are so great, we just do what's fun and don't give a shit.

Jonkreation, here is Eric Pollard's twin brother who rollerblades, Robert Guerrero. They both have the same type of outlook on their sport (solid style over gnarly, but often a combination of the two), both are deep thinkers, and they're both goofy guys. Every time I watch a Pollard section I think of Rob's style, and every time I watch a section of Rob's I think of Eric's style.

I proudly present to you the work of the guy we fondly call Rob G. Filmed at the coolest place on earth, Lake Owen.

this shit is fucking wack...

props to these cats for having fun, but THIS JUST FUCKING PROVES that there are skiers out there right now who are pros, who aren't really that good.

what you ask?

these 2 guys decide to fuck around with skiing since the blade. and they are killing it their first year, and that is cause they are dope bladers.

now let us think of those skiers who have rollerblade backgrounds who are killing the park scene. i'm not talking about all pro's, but it all comes back to being able to actualy make turns and understand how a ski works for you, and then skiing park too.

Don't think somebody is SICK!!! untill you see them ski all over the mountains in all conditions.

those vids really made me wnat to go skiing, maybe cuz its super sunny and i am locked inside studying, but i really wnat to go skiing. On another completely void note....i really didn't liek chris haffey's suit....his style wasn't goodd ( whihc what do yuo expect when you just swtich) but the suit made him look like a tool. Thats is my shitty little bit of input! horray!

Rollerblading helped with my skiing this year.

So it should be no surprise that pros of rollerblading that have been doin it forever should have no problem with skiing.

That video of robert guerrero is amazing. You should see his section from Feet, which is also amazing. As for hateraid, competitions are judged based off of tricks not on how well you ski all mountain. Stop complaining about their lack of skiing technique and just let people be stoked for the advancement these two made in such a short amount of time. Chris and Shima are not claiming that they're the best, so stop acting like they are!
