Your always so negative about our sport. Everytime I read something by you, you say something how snowboarding or surfing is just so much better than skiing. Whats wrong with wanting to ski like tanner hall, hes a sick skier.

agreed.. only thing i have to say negative is if kids like what they see, i.e. the whole basketball jersey thing, their not being original BUT they like the look so try not to make it seem like everyone who has a basketball jersey on or XXXL suits on is doing it JUST b/c some pros are.

well the way i see it, me and some of my friend have been riding with jerseys since 6th grade in our gay little mountain that bites.Its always been our style. I admit its getting a bit mainstream but to some degree its not , now i see alot of people telling me to "just fucking ski man , selling your skis is not an aspect of the sport". Im just like what the fuck , i have 2000$+ worth of skis in my room that i have to sell, i can't just let them rot. I want the skis to go to someone who needs em. There is to some extent a "progression" fad where kids think there so into the sport and they can save the world. They tell kids not to worry about what they wear and it doesnt matter and shit its all the same. Clearly they have no idea what theyre talking about. If you buy the stuff that makes you feel "cool" and "happy",you will perform better. Like if you buy some haggard ass gear thats too tight, how the hell are you suppose to move. Even though i do agree with you Doug,one your the man, second its very true. Ever seen the , MY DOO RAG WON'T STAY ON THREAD. the other day i saw a skier with a burton bandana tied above the basket of his ski pole. personally, i think its the stupidest thing i have ever seen and was just waiting for the chance to nail the kid with a snowball from the lift. sadly i never got that chance, but i guess he's being pretty original because i'm sure as hell not going to copy him, and i don't think anybody else will.

see i like you. i'm glad that someone with some authority thinks the way i think on this page. all you see on this site is some nobody doing a switch 5/7 truckdriver. which pisses the hell outta me. its not just vail either. this happens everywhere and all you have to do is smoke weed and ski around the mountain and you can feeel the vibe that the poseor park skiers put off. like this huge front that they think they're incredibly badass and think they're so much more dedicated that the rest of skiing or some shit like that, and they cannot even tear it down. having said that im going to go put on my double XL oakley outfit and go tear down Whistler,BC
