dope sammy and shmuck. I totally agree with what you guys say. The whole "hater shit" is just going to keep growing unfortunately, the bigger a group gets, the further apart it goes, like snowboarding, at first when just a handful of people did it, everyone who did it was like " yo dude, sick I snowboard to, lets chill" but when more and more people do it, some people hate others, and some people get different oppinions. Either way we just gotta kepp pushing the sport, and ski cuz that's what we all love to do.
its dope to see sammy clear up all the beef in the ski indusrt, there really is no reason for kids on this site to be shitting on him or anyone else involved in the ski industry. everyones out there trying to progress the sport and getting everyone hyped up on how dope and fun skiing really is. stop the hating and appreciate what there cats are doing for the industry
yo to the kid who was hating on nike sb. shut the fuck up. nike makes shoes, and skateboarders need shoes, and nike makes damn good skateboarding shoes. as for how "core" they are, that is also such a bull shit argument because they know sports and no matter how much you dont want to believe skiing is an organized sport is is. I dont blame anyone for wanting to have a share in skiing. I guess a good way to make my idea relevant is to hear something like this: Rossignol must be gay because they make race products, but look at all the skis they made. one of the first twin tips. we even use their race bindings as park bindings. Kids need to get over this stupid ass "core" arguement. It's not about being a core company, its about how committed you are to a sport and how well you can push your athletes, and i'm proud nike picked up such a talented team because i know they are in it not for the money but because they really want to progress the sport. if they were in it for the money they would have picked up some washed up skiers instead of sammy Tj and jossi
wow aparently i'm the only one worried about the fate of skiing now that nike is involved... skiing has got incredibly popular in the last decade and its still growing at a really fast rate (as is snowboarding) so i don't see why people are stoked to see a mega-corporation jumping on the bandwagon because this could be the beginning of the end of the sport as we know it. goodbye soul, hello swoosh.
you guys are haters- the kid is only 18 years old. He has all the right in the world to try to make money. Don't say hes a sell out. Who cares hes making money that allows him to ski. You guys are idiots. Only a moron wouldn't accept a sponsership from Nike. Sammy is the man.
Sammy is cool but he really should have signed with Line. The whole Nike thing is for the most part good. How else are we going to get a commercial on MTV, yeah they really don't love the sport but they are still helping progress it.
