i think predator pants have them too. instead of duct tape you can go buy some clear epoxy (in the canisters not the little tubes) from a craft or plastics store. mix up the epoxy and pour a really thin layer on the bottom of your pants. this part will stay really hard but they shouldn't tear.
i don't know. after reading about how he treats the alta lifties (thinking that he's so much of damn god that he doesn't need to show his pass) i lost a lot of respect for him. yelling at the lifties with lines like, "do you know who i am?!" makes him sound like an ass.

i think there's a Sierra community college in Truckee. about 15 minutes from squaw, alpine, and sugar bowl. if you're just starting off college then there's nothing wrong with going to a community college for the first couple of years to get your GE's in for cheap.
