hey guys my friends cousin works for alta and stays there we are probaly making a trip up there later in the season. How is there park for beginners and how is the mountain overall?

Ok lets see the park has a SICK RYTHYM SECTION with a 5 footer a 10 footer and a 15 footer. The lips throw you at least 6 inches off the deck for all your "slow spinning" needs. Seriously, if you want to ride the park at alta, it either hasn't snowed in 6 weeks or you suck at life and need to reconsider resorts/sports.

exactly what he said^, but to answer your question its not a good park at all, but maybe for real new beginners it wouldnt be so bad.

ive got another version of the pole dangle, its pretty funny too, gets cold when i do it on the lift tho.

^haha i wish that the only thing to ski at alta was pow, but we do get inversion weeks and what-not where theres no snow for like a month, shitty yes, but you just find other things to do, sooooo theres more than just pow.

Yeah that only happened like once since I moved here, and after it was done we got like 117 inches in 14 days. Inversion does suck, except for warm nightskiing at brighton. The great thing about this place is you can pretty much count on at least one storm a week

what are you talkin about, the park at alta is so sick, i wouldn't go anywhere else in utah to jib, but alta. Plus it never gets tracked up on pow days. The mountain overall is what sucks at alta, like the worst terrian in North America, but they make up for it with a sick park. That is what all the hype is about.

 
Alta is a terrain park. There are so many places to just go jump off of stuff and land on soft, fluffy goodness. so, go ski some pow at the best mountain ever and don't worry about whether or not the park is good.

if u go to alta to ski park then u have no clue whats goin on. alta for pow and steeps.

altas park is excellant for beginners, but the mountain kicks so much ass.
