    Out for the season... already.

yeah i just got done with the whole reconstructed shoulder thing. all in all it's a six month process. after about three to four months you'll be all good to ride carefully. like some said before me, dont flail, and keep your arm in front of you if you do fall. rehab it like crazy and it...

    Working at Mammoth...

the only way to find out is to talk to someone that does the hiring. i work there now but just because i say it's easy to get a job there doesnt mean it is. call them and ask to talk to a manager in whatever area it is that you want to work in. just get your foot in the door and go from there.

    waterproofness

oh yeah, and to be officially waterproof the pants/jacket have to have taped seams. But then again, just because something has taped seams doesnt mean the fabric itself is h2o proof. and just make sure that whatever you get that its actually breathable because if its not you will own a one man...

    waterproofness

yeah 2,000mm isnt water proof. thats water resistant. A good water proof breathable coat or pant will be at around 10,000mm for waterproofing and around the same for breathability. if you have a pant that is like 15,000mm waterproof and only 2000mm breathable your still going to get wet. and...

    HELP A NEEDY SKIER...

not training on one is probably more dangerous than training on one in the long run. not only do they help you with air awarness and confidence but they also help condition your legs for those hard impacts that happen while skiing. and another nice thing is that if you dont know how to do a...

bigair clockboy- This is a call out.

yeah i remember that. but i also remember that they are from southern wisconsin. and seeing as they live in wisconsin they havn't been able to use the jump because of the lack of snow. i dont think we in southern wisconsin have had more than six inches on the ground at one time. which in turn...

    Rossignol Bindings Suck

ahh, brakes brake on any binding you buy. if your pissed because your brake broke your an idiot. as far as i'm concerned look/rossi are the shit. they have seven points of contact on your boot compared to marker and salomons 4-5, which means you get a better performing binding. it's a lot...

    Extra Cushoning on the Shins

any boot can and will give you boot bang. it just depends on how they fit and how you use them(landing backseat sucks). booster straps are just like the power straps on your boots, but a little bit wider so you can tighten your boots more efficiently. the tighter the better.

    help shin splints!

yeah dont land backseat. ice them and stetch. the toe exercise stated above works damn well too. and yeah dont wear sloppy boots, those lead to all sorts af nagging injuries.

flares and 540 in the pipe

flares are butter. not hard at all. make sure you can do flares/underflips off of diving boards or on trampolines first. but drop in with enough speed to go as high as you said you can, look straight at the spot in which you will be hitting the lip so you can pop and spin at the right time...

    Extra Cushoning on the Shins

usually boot bang is caused by skiing backseat or landing back seat. what happens is when you ski backseat/land backseat your legs get tweaked backwords. and when you have skis on that tweaking turns into a shit load of torque, mainly concentrated on your shins. because of this the muscle...
