Ok so here it is when I ask for all of your help, my parents say no trampaline for some reason, even though I will pay for it. My mom is kinda gettin convinced because I was doing front flips on the ground and I think she was gettin nervous. So here it is help me out please, just all of you who use trampalines please post a comment telling the advantages of them for when I ski, just dont swear or anything cuz im gunna have her read them and then I think I will have a trampaline.....

as long as you know what you're doing and not being a total moron, they are pretty safe!

they improve your orientation in the air and give you a sense of where you are in realtion to the ground. Its way safer to learn tricks on a trampoline than it is to just go out and try them on skis

it will help you develope air awareness. When you are in the air (tramp or skis) you will have alot better sense of where you actually are and what is happening. It makes it so much easier to land safely and it helps prevent super bad crashes

Dude, I fall off the trampolene almost daily, and it doesn't hurt... too much. Be sure to get a neck brace man, you'll need it! :-)

I am God... Please feel free to take a number, I'll be right with you.

I have had a trampoline for years, and I have thrown some pretty crazy things on them like double flips with late spins and whatever.

But I have never been hurt on one. Why? Because trampolines teach you how to crash and like the other guys said 'be aware'.

You learn safety, if you try absolutely stupid things that are way above your level then yes you can get hurt. if you just take everything one step at a time, and work your way up then you will not get hurt.

There is a way to crash/fall. Trampolines help give you the coordination, timing, air sense, and control that you need to develop this.

Some parents don't get trampolines for their kids because they don't want them to get hurt. Which is understandable, but in reality not having things like this makes you uncordinated and can end up getting hurt more - on stupid things.

I know this kid who has very protective parents, they will not let him try anything crazy or jump on trampoleans, so he doesn't do anything crazy.

I do some pretty crazy things sometimes, but this kid has gotten hurt more than I have.

Why? He has no coordination skills whatsoever. He's broken bones by tripping on the ground. Or he'll try skateboarding once, fall off and break more bones.

If he had a trampolean he could've learned how to fall correctly - to minimize injury.. - to roll out of things.

show your mom the huge post about tramps on the next page, that will convince her. I had this same problem so i started a post on it and got a huge response

Not being able to speak is not the same as not speaking. You seem as if you like to talk. I like to let people talk who like to talk. It makes it easier to find out how full of shit they are.

get that safety cage net that surrounds the trampoline so you cant fall off it. those are so sweet if i had one i would feel so much safer.

My family has owned a trampoline since i was 2 years old. I have been jumping ever since and can do some crazy tricks on it. as everyone else said, it really helps your air awareness and it really helps you learn how to fall to prevent injury. It is much safer to buy a trampoline and slowly learn a trick until you have it down then try it on skis, rather than just trying it on skis and hurting yourself badly.

I don't know about the cage.

I personally wouldn't get it, but hey if it makes you way more confident then go for it.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

Ya, the nets are really helpful as a safety factor. It saved me from flying off and landing on my head once (I got pushed by my brother's friend while doing something really stupid on their tramp.) But as long as you aren't being a complete moron on the tramps, they're perfectly safe.

Skiing is not for the simple minded, that's why they invented the snowboard.

I train with Olypmic coaches and skiers for aerials, and i say this because they tell me the only way to learn safely, and the right way, is on the tramp. It's the way every sport from gymnastics to newschools trains. they ARE they safest way, hands down. How else will you learn? You either won't progress at all, get worse because you aren't able to practice what you already know, or go try stuff on snow because that's the only place you have to try it.

it's the only option and only way to go. if it's good enough for olympics, it's good enough for you.

i wont drop out of high school for skiing, mom

not training on one is probably more dangerous than training on one in the long run. not only do they help you with air awarness and confidence but they also help condition your legs for those hard impacts that happen while skiing. and another nice thing is that if you dont know how to do a certain trick, you can learn it in steps on a tramp rather than with injuries on snow.

they will screw you up!!!!!!!!

jkjk they make u have better coordination and balance
