I think the most important is to focus on throwing yourself forward immediatley when you leave the kicker as you pop. In the beginning people tend to do that too late and waste too much airtime on offsetting the natural backward momentum that comes with any jump. Then it is hard to still pull it...

I have now stopped over-rotating on the backflip by trying to spot my landing consciously and early. The problem I now have is that I land backwards (i.e 180 integrated, or somtimes less)without wanting to do so (and I havent stuck it either). Can anyone tell me what I am doing that I shouldn't...

Seth Morrison may be the best skiier out there but he seems braindead so I am not sure it is fair to compare him to some of the other riders.

I break my poles every now and then and in most these situations it´s either they break or my arm so I guess don't sweat it right?

Hey I have just tried a few backflips and I am having difficulties landing them as I always overrotate. Any advice on how to land them properly?

I do understand the 'free' part. So you say its the skis that you are riding rather than the mountain. Interesting, I always here people talking about how they ride big faces and so on. I think that's pretty dumb. Riding skis seems ok to me, but I still prefer calling it skiing.

Who ever came up with this stupid expression and why does everybody embrace it? You ride a horse, a bike, a wave, because they all move. You dont ride a static object like a mountain. What's up with this bullshit. All of a sudden skiing doesn't sound cool enough anymore??

I think it is pretty cool, given that it is actually an apres ski place with pretty strippers and not a strip joint. Unlike that other guy I haven't seen that in any resort yet. They may have strip joints but that doesn't seem to be your point.

I think it helps to take the picture from above the fallline leaning as far forward as possible or better even holding the camera out into the slope and hence getting more bird's eye perspective. The Catch: you don't see what you are taking the picture of....

Probably right, but Jackson looks good in the movies, but then almost anything looks good when people throw themselves of 45ft cliffs and all you need for that is the cliff and snow and some space to ride it out. Dont know.
