Im in Quebec and I was in the same situation as you. I went to Vermont to get my pair of Prophet 90. No one carried them here + I paid less buying them in the states.

Ohhh I would have saved 75$ on my Prophet 90. That's a good deal for someone looking for new skis.

I have 186cm Prophet 90 and I really like them. It's a true east coast all-mountain ski. Carve nicely, stiff, there's no limit on this ski. Can't comment on the MSP, but my Line Prophet are holding up real good. They are nice and fun skis. Highly recommended.

I was in the same situation as you. Wanted Line Prophet 90 but Im in Quebec and there was no shop carrying them. I made a trip down to Alpine Shop in Burlington, VT to get them.

I also quit hockey to ski. I think I made the right decision. Think about it, hockey is a team sport, so if you make a mistake you have all the blame on you. Ski is an individual sport, you can practice it whenever you want, you don't have specific game or practice time.
