Kamloops has easy access Duffy Lake Road.

I believe clearwater has a hill.. super small though. Mike Wiegele is blue river.. nothing to do other than ski and sled. Everyone I know who has worked for a heli op has got 20 plus days in on a heli though. I know Mica lets their employees use the cat as well.

Since your going to TRU check out the Run to the Hills ski/snowboard club. We are throwin a rail jam in Jan, as well as organzing rides to sunpeaks, Backcountry tours, roadtrips etc. and go with the volkls.. but if your into powder step it up to mantras, gotama's or katana's.

I'm betting we won't be open on the 17th.

having owned a pair of lines and volkls and being similar in height to you Im pretty sure you want to go with the Volkl's. Lines are fun to dink around on but because they are so soft and your a bigger guy coming from a racer background you won't be able to work em at all and they'll flap...

My mountain has a certain group of park rats who where jerseys no matter what the weather with a skier on the front and their last names on the back.. but yeah the park is filled with hate.
