Is there much touring to do in kamloops?

Kamloops has easy access Duffy Lake Road.

There is sled access in sun peaks. The backcountry here isn't anything epic but its fun. For touring I'd recommend heading toward Whistler on the Duffy which is a few hours or go to Rogers Pass. If you are sledding there is amazing access way closer.
