In the past year I've had friends have a car stolen at noon on a main road at gun point, recently kids have been getting robbed on or around the UPS campus, including another robbery at gunpoint last night, I've seen cops go nutes for an armed man on campus, seen a woman extremely fucked up on meth following a beat down and attack with a knife (with my parents during parents weekend), almost been killed on the highway by a car running to opposite direction from the police, walked outside to see my car door justed opened and someone running down the street, had someone breaking into our dorms last year to steal girls underwear, run into a hooker cut up by a trix going to get munchies at safeway, and have heard gunshots enough to know they are fire crackers.
this doesn't include the shooting at the mall, which I am frequently at and were actually planning to go that day with the GF, or a recent shooting at our local Costco, another place I am at often. For reference, Costco is pretty much across the street from the mall.
THis is all in the span of 1.5 years of being here.
So yeah, that is why I call it tacompton.

Speed limit is probably 60?? on most section of 90 around there right?

the conditions were good. full coverage at central. rocks on a bit of the park but it was staying cold and it was firm with packed powder and it was FREEZING cold the whole time. my puffer barely was enough.

tacompton isnt that bad. just pay attention to where you are and if someone pulls a gun and ask for you car or whatnot just give it to them. not that hard.
