Take an avalanche course before you venture into the backcountry or the side country of resorts. I did it at one time but regret it cause i didn't understand the risks. That being said, Im lucky to have had nothing happen during those times but not everyone is that lucky. Take an avalanche course and you will see. End of story. Take this vid down.
