this reminds me of when a dude re-posted one of my ski designs, at least he apologised. jibtastic has every right to be fuckin annoyed with you, i instantly recognised it because i downloaded the original. while it was pointed out that there isn't a loss of money, it's the principle, as well as the fact that TwinTipRider might have earned some credit and respect for the piece, (despite a lot of people on this site knowing jib's work). You showed no credit early on, or even mentioned the fact you weren't responsible for part of the piece, thus weren't planning on doing so, and were planning on claiming it.
Someone said it was a compliment to have your work used- this is true, but it is a bigger compliment to give credit to the original artist.

u cud make the argument that Music artists aren't LOSING money from digital downloads, they're just not making any more - that doesn't mean its not gay
thats just gay that you'd rip off someone else's work and claim it for you own. i'd be pissed. at least people who download music don't claim they made it.
i think he saw the pic, liked it, saved it decided to play around, nothing seriosu, i know him he wouldent rip, he isnt makiong money off it and he apologized!! i dont see how the whole court thing came into play but i dont think its needed.....
The fact that no credit was given for a very crappy rip off of an excellent piece of design is the real kick in the pants. I mean,at LEAST, say 'original by...'.. wow...
The people who are defending him, don't have the creative talents and don't realize what it feels like. And to fkxpro..I've learned that in this business, its all about coming off with an image. You've got to define yourself and be solid in your grounds.
^i gotta question for jibtastic, is your work all original? like, do you design and create every aspect of your work, or do some of them have actual pictures in them? like I saw one of yours with some dudes face...i was just wondering.
