Why would I hate skiing because of beginners? They’re having a great time on the slopes and improving their skills. But unlike this daft woman, they don’t consider themselves capable of competing in the olympics at their current skill level.
Difference is Eddie actually worked hard and pushed himself, in a very dangerous sport that he was passionate about, with no available training facilities and basically no funding. He made it through to represent his own country and earned respect despite not being anywhere near the level of the other competitors
