i kind of got the impression from this vid that if a slope is already skied it is safe, which is not true. conditions can change throughout the day, and between storms. for your own sake, you guys should post some kind of disclaimer for these videos. im sure you know these vids are no substitute for proper training in an avy course but you should probably mention it. it could save your ass.

Yes. You're right. This is definitely not a substitute for real backcountry travel training and going with people who have experience.
We aren't trying to imply that existing tracks make a face safe. You should always make your decisions based on your own observations of snowpack.
That being said, we do think the ski cut is a good option in a lot of situations. One thing we mention is that you can do these inbounds as well on faces you are unsure of.
