Hey does anyone know any ways that i can feel like i have gotten enough sleep? ok heres my problem... I go to bed at about 9 or 930 every night (you'll hear why)i have to do this because if i go to bed any later than 10 i absolutley cannot get up in the morning. no matter what! my alarm won't get me up and so on. The days that i start school at 830 i go to bed at 9 and i can get up a little better becauyse i get an hour more sleep but other than that i feel like shit in the morning and i can barley get ready for school. Do any of you know anything i can do besides go to bed earlier and besides drink coffee because i hate it...ok thanx

Get a water bed that has tidal wave mode. That way you can just set the internal timer for tidal waves, you'll just get your ass rocked out of bed.

i find i can never get enough sleep no matter what when i have to go to school...it's just the time i wake up, like i can;t get up at 6....i've tried going to bed at like 8:30, ands i've gone to bed at 12, and i got the same kind of results...kinda lame, i wish i didn;t have to get up so early

Oh shit man, maybe you should go see a sleeping doctor, my problem is just waking up in the morning, I sit there and just refuse to get up and wait till the very last minute to get my ass out of bed, unless I'm going skiing then I just cant sleep...

Maybe, you're just not a morning person...I'm definitely not. It's always hard getting up no matter how early I go to sleep...but cold shower helps, and fresh air.

but yeah, getting up in general just sucks.

Apples make you wake up better then coffee. I go to bed usually 9-930, but lately since the sox have been playing late, I've stayed up till 12 or later...I don't have any trouble getting up, but it's staying awake in class I struggle at. I've nodded off a few times this year, and almost everyday this week. heh. I just splash my face with cold water to wake myself up.

i used to not be able to get up, but i found that once i started working out again and getting into better shape it was alot easier to get up in the morning.

yeah, your body skips a day if you sleep too much, and being over tired is usually worse.

Just stick to a routine.

What I do is just before bed,m I repeat a mantra ¨wake up at 6:30¨, and i wake up exactly at the time and feel fully awake. Really, your internal clock is the best, just train it.

cant help u there i have a way hard time waking up on my own...its like the hardest part of the day..but one thing that might help is taking a nap in the afternoon.

almost 11 hours of sleep a night is too much... try going to bed later and sleeping for 7 hours. It also helps if you get alot of exercise during the day. During my rugby season in highschool i felt more awake than any other time of the year because id go to sleep at 10 or 1030, get up at 6, be at practice for 7 and then run and do drills for an hour and a half, then go to class feeling wide awake and refreshed for the rest of the day.

Yeah i used to think i was getting to much sleep. i would someyimes count the hours i needed to get a full 8 and time myself for when i need to be asleep and when i need to be awake. my internal clock isn't working either. i'll just do one of those wake ups during the night and i usually do it at like 430 and i'll have a lot of energy and my eyes will be open and then i'll look at the clock, relize i have 2 more hours go to sleep then in 2 hours feel like shit and can't get up at all. whats with that ?
