What's your guys favorite clip in the movie? Ima go with Anders daylodge table ride or Paddys gate swingin ender.

There’s too many to choose from but the PC bus clip is just rowdy

We used to say it as a joke, but I've found showing Zootspace to a girl is a genuinely good way to determine how chill they are.

I’m taking notes and trying this the next date I go on.

I actually showed zootspace to my 60 year old dad (who doesn't ski by the way.) for a laugh a few weeks back and he actually loved it. One of the weirdest moments of my life. By now we've watched take 3, don't fret and most gutter together.

I’ve tried watching it.... several times. Couldn’t ever make it past the first two minutes tho.

It’s cool kids are getting out there and doing some new and creative stuff, but idk if it’s the production, the music, or their behaviour or w.e else that’s putting me off.

I think I’ve just lost interest in street skiing. I’d take skiing fresh over slamming into concrete stairs any day.

you do you next gen enjoy it

Engineer who built this was prolly like wow I can definitely get away with putting a little gap here for aesthetics and nothing stupid will happen involving the endangerment of citizens

lmao and on a related thought, i like to think that in the crowd of thousands of civil engineers, a few of them are current or former action sports people and when they have the option, they make things better suited for sports, ya know, installing a long smooth quad kink rather than a few shorter separate rails

Me and my homie are sitting in class looking at this thread (I’m a CE major) and he said it would be funny if I was at a spot with a crew hitting it and as b roll I’d go “yeah we can’t get busted from this spot I built it” and points to the bridge and my name is on it.

and I had the exact same thought last night after I posted that reply. Would be funny if I were designing a bridge and purposely put shit on it underneath and construction team is building it and they’re like tf is this long ass ledge here for what’s this have to do with supporting the bridge.

Those 1/4 pipe things at the Ohio rest areas. Those guys made better transitions than a lot of skateparks I've seen lol. Never tried to skate one, im not good enough but it would be sick. Even to throw a piece of ply up it.

have you guys seen hardstyle?zoot remix

been watching it a lot recently lol and some of you guys might have missed it

damn this is dope. who made this remix?

Zootspace tbh actually showcases why people ski and why they love it and the fun times with people you enjoy. Major budget ski flicks nowadays are just hour and a half long product placements to sell gear to beaters from the bay area and tons of self-suck pontificating on "how much the mountains mean to me" kind of shit. Just shut up and ski.

This x1000. I'm never going to go heli-skiing or build a backcounty kicker. I HAVE however skied on a picnic table while drinking beers and smoking spliffs with my friends...

I hate the powder voiceovers where they try to highlight adversity they faced and make it seem inspiring.

Like bro, it’s just skiing

For real. So much adversity you faced by growing up in the mountains with a wealthy family. Sure took you a lot.

Can confirm this actually works. Pretty good way in general to determine if someone takes skiing too seriously or not.

I have no Ill will against the skiers. I get that they’re just trying to get paid and chase the dream. It’s just so corny and rinse and repeat. It’s very much aimed at your 35 year old in Denver who maybe skis 5 times a year.

Speaking of, I was invited to a TGR video this weekend in Denver lmao ?

All these crews nowadays remind me of the roots of companies like Matchstick, TGR, etc. when they made fun ski movies and didn't take things too seriously. Like that was the whole point of saucer boy (RIP). No ill-will either, a paycheck is a paycheck and its a good one at that, but yeah, they aren't for us anymore. The future does look bright however.

That's so true. I went to the ski movie premiers with a boarder friend and he's like "why is everything so serious lol". He has a point for sure, most of the big companies take it too seriously whereas the smaller crews just focus on having fun and put whatever they want into their edits
