Im looking to get a zoom lens any recommendations?

Also, what lenses do you already have, and what are you trying to shoot?

Hard to make a good recommendation without that info. If you have a Txi setup like half this site, the 70-200 f4L is supposed to be great (I love the f2.8 version), and last I checked it was around $500 to $600 used.

i have one and i love it.

best buy typically has some amazing deals on them, i picked one up for 650 brand new

also a pretty common lens if you want to find one on the used market

if you are gonna buy this lens invest in a tripod ring, it is a pretty heavy piece of glass
