Zoom lens for m4/3

This summer I have a few projects where I'm in need of a pretty far zoom. ( I'll be shooting drift races) shooting with a gh3. I am looking into the Panasonic 100-300 and am wondering if there are any better options? Any vintage glass that would be worth considering as well? Looking for around that focal length and around same price ($500ish). Help me out.

yeah, in the price range for sure. They also make a 40-200mm I think for about half the price.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into that lens. I also have a Nikon to m4/3 adapter with aperture control, is it worth looking into a piece of Nikon glass??

Yes.

I own a nikon 70-210 f4 ais and it was $50, looks great.

Nikon made a 100-300 f5.6 ais its quite cheap
