What did NS think? The group I went with was split, most of us (including me) thought it was fucking hilarious, but some of the girls didn't like it.
 
honestly, i thought it was one of the better movies ive ever seen. not only was it funny, it had a bit of everything, suspense, action, emotion, just an all round great movie . plus emma stone is gorgeous.
 
i just got back from it i was extremely jumpy first half because i was so baked, but after that i thought the movie was pretty funny
 
i have no idea what to expect from this movie if i do end up seeing it. it looks potentially funny, but it could be real stupid too
 
I hadn't seen the trailer or anything before i saw the movie, and I thought it was great. Woody Harleson's acting was surprisingly good, as he's not someone I consider that funny. The only thing that bothered me is that the main guy is basically a michael cera ripoff...

Thought this movie was sick, disturbing, over-the-top, hilarious, and awesome all over the place.

first off, adventureland is a pretty good movie: good soundtrack, good acting, good story. Not just blood and shit. The only bad thing about it was that he was completely snaking micheal cera's whole "personality".
Secondly, Zombieland fucking sucked. One of the worst fucking movies i have seen in a real real long time. The parts that were considered "funny" were people getting their fucking faces smashed into concrete and having their ankles broken. Thats fucking retarded. They just dumbed this movie wayy down for these american audiences i guess. Shaun of the Dead is the british "counterprt" of this movie and actually had REAL FUCKING JOKES. real fucking witty dialogue. NOT FUCKING PEOPLE SPILLING BLOOD OUT OF THEIR FUCKING MOUTHS!!!!!! And dont even get me started on how unrealistic this movie was. At least shaun of the dead could happen.
The only thing i gained from this overall shitty piece of shit was a boner from Emma Stone. She was the only reason i stayed in the theater. Please do not waste your money on this piece of shit.
 
Just came back from watching it.

Really enjoyed it, well worth 10 bucks.

I laughed out loud many times, the rules concept is great, the acting is good and EMMA STONE IS FUCKING HOT WOW ... HER > MEGAN FOX.

Btw, about the main character, I'm glad it's not Cera, makes a change seeing another guy play the funny loser kinda guy.
 
I thought it was great. More of a comedy about zombies, not a zombie movie with comedy. But some excellent zombie action nonetheless. The Michael Cera ripoff kid did a decent job, he was compelling enough that I liked his character. Woody Harrelson was gold. The chick from Superbad was hot and funny. But the banger has to be that it has one of the best cameo appearances I have ever seen. I say its worth it, check it out!
 
Yeah I saw it yesterday and it was really freakin good. I went out and bought a twinke afterward too. If you have seen the movie you will know what I am talking about.
 
This is what I'm talking about when I say the masses are split between "funny" and "not funny." That doesn't usually happen with a movie with Zombieland's comedy type . . . . . . . . . . maybe it's all the zombie puke?
