I stopped by a local convenience store the other night and the clerk talked me into buying a Zippo. i like it so much I'm looking into trying a Zippo hand warmer for ski season. anybody tried em? any one else Zippo crazy as me?
 
Nothing says I'm more badass then the following: pulling out a grape swisher while riding up the lift and then busting out a solid silver windproof zippo lighter and lighting that delicious roll of tobacco up. Love me a zippo, carry one everyday.
 
No offense and all, but I fucking hate it when people smoke on the lifts. I mean, its a public area, and people on the lift with you dislike it, they don't usually say anything, but it's just rude it seems. Mainly because all I smell is smoke, and I dislike the smell very much.
 
if your gonna smoke a straight up cigar, at least smoke a good one. Stick to cigarettes otherwise, swishers are meant for blunts and people with no class.
 
I hate my zippo tbh, its a dirty and inefficient lighter compared to bic or clipper. The fuel smells and the flame leaves residue on shit easily. Badass wise its pretty cool, but besides that I have no use for it
 
This. I love my zippo though. It works great and its fun to use. Kind of a comfort item for me now. Just leaving it in my pocket is what I do.
 
Instead of buying a hand-warmer Zippo:

Pour a tiny amount of lighter fluid in the opened lid.

Let it burn until all the lighter fluid is gone.

Close Zippo.

Really fucking hot hand-warmer acquired.
 
Dude fucking cigarettes are the worst. But I agree swishers are very shitty quality and arent exactly the classiest, I just like them for some reason. But also how do you feel about wood tipped black and milds? And also to the other person that hates me comment haha I would never smoke with a random person on the same chair as me, rude for sure. But I figured the smoke dissipates enough to not bother the people behind you?
 
Black n milds? I know you probably dress like a hoodrat black person while skiing but you don't have to smoke like one
 
i use one. and love it. Is there any other type of fuel that is like bic fluid to put in a zippo to smoke with?
 
If you're talking about with a piece just don't even bother using a zippo. Just use a bic. If you're just talking about fluid to use you can buy Ronson fluid that works.
 
my friend had some kind of butane attachment thing for his zippo i have no idea about it, but it was sick. I'm sure you could find it if you looked it up.
 
alright. so after i made this thread i went out and bought a no name zippo because i didnt want to spend so much after all the bad rap everyone gave it. i'm happy to report that smoking with it can leave a bad taste but it is mild the smell is what gets me but you are usually outside hen using it so it isnt too bad. and after some research i have found the thunderbird butane zippo insert that is basically a bic lighter shaped to look and fit into your zippo to take away the drawbacks of an open fluid lighter. hope that helps anyone. became an expert in a couple days. lol jk

sparknotes: I like my zippo but if you dont want smell or taste get a thunderbird butane insert for it. all the badassery minus the smell and taste.
