Zion I - You like them? Your comments will get them to play in Colorado

There's a contest planned in Colorado where the marketing department for a resort, (I rather not say what one out of respect and to avoid any negative PR) doesn't want Zion I and Grouch to play the after party.

I believe they are out of touch. Please post your comments, (in support or not)

Zion I is the shit, i love their music and have most of their CD's. that resort is gay if they dont want them to play.
 
I've gone to about 9872398723 Zion-I shows in Santa Cruz and 2 of the Zion-I and the Grouch shows. Their tour right now is AMAZING, its so good. I had so much fun at the one in Missoula, it was ridiculous. I got to meet the guys and they were great to chill with, really chill and down to earth. The were so "on" and they're all such good performers. I was right in the front at both shows and the guys seemed so appreciative of the crowds support. PLUS, Amp Live is an amazing DJ watching him live is mind-blowing (get his mixtape. so sick). The openers were all pretty good, too.

Basically it was one of the best concerts i've been to, and I've seen everyone from fucking Aida (the musical) to Zion-I. The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, Murs and Wu-Tang at Rock the Bells are the other concerts that rival Zion-I and the Grouch. Tough competition.
 
holy shit as soon as i hit "reply" the song "digital dirt" off the new album kicked in. fuck yeah. soo good. anyways I've seen 2 of the Zion I & Grouch shows this year and too many zion i shows to count with my fingers in the previous years... def. get them, it always goes down smooth.
 
super good live, i saw their "heroes in the city of dope" tour a month or so ago and it was amazing. everyone was so chill, they let my friend interview them one by one after the show and they each talked for like 5 minutes. it was cool to see stars like that open up to random college kids with a microphone
 
shit last year i saw toots and the maytals at copper.. FUCKKIN BEST SHOW EVER. like i had never been to a reggae show but fuck man. like i felt the beat man you know .. you got feel it
 
their lyrics aren't offensive both zion and the grouch are two of the nicest, most polite, and respectful people there are and they make kick ass music...what's not to like??
 
they're not mainstream so most corporate types are unaware of this and just look at them like any other underground hip hop group.

bad pr is well deserved for the taking away of the people that brought you such good hip hop. if it was rap, theyd get em to come.
