The press conference the prosecutor gave was outstanding. I would suggest everyone watch it. She is going to do a great job to make sure it is fair and unbiased.

Stupid move, if the media didn't blow everything out of proportion it would end up being another slap on the hand for some self defense case, instead its all about being "Racist" and that the reason he died is because someone saw a black kid in the hoodie so they think it would be funny to shoot him.great job america

it obviously wasn't a stupid move. Even if you commit an act of self defense it still has to be investigated. The prosector obviously found enough evidence to be able to charge him with 2nd degree murder too.

You do realize hes not being charged with a hate crime right? There is no legal idea of "racism" involved at all in this case. However, there is a lot of evidence (meaning the evidence available to the public) that suggest that Trayvon may have been singled out and deemed suspicious because of his race.

Also, it is a great job by America. America is effectively and fairly using the judicial system that has been set up for it since our creation.
