Zero Zone?

Pretty sure jems was saying there were worries of where to do it and people stealing stuff. Also I think patty who was organizing it got injuried? Which impacted? Idk. Can’t remember perfectly what’s going on with it but those fellas should have some helpful info [tag=242938]@Jems[/tag] [tag=224147]@Young_patty[/tag]

i never really signed up to help make it i just wanted to make the content, but everyone who was originally involved is injured. It’ll be a next year thing, we will have more time to figure shit out.

Fuck that’s tough, and with pvc cracks and shit would be hard.

Would be tight if Bozeman did what Denver did with ruby park. Feel like it could work at Lindley or something like that

^Pretty much this!

sorry for not posting more about it but pretty much myself and most of the others are out with various injuries for the year and we have been unable to build due to surgery, lack of snow ect

Spots have been picked, plans have been made for the money (it’s all going to tools and feature materials) and an avengers style crew has more or less been assembled.

plans for next year will hopefully include:

-a couch

-another pre season lindley build

- followed by a more permanent park up at the hyalite reservoir.

-snake run(?!)

-sweet content brought to you by Jems and bz.tf

once again sorry we couldn’t get it up this year, I tore the absolute shit out of my ACL in December, another key member tore his soon after and the injuries just kept piling up: knee injuries, broken pelvis’s, the list goes on. Next year will be our year for sure, this year we just got unlucky.

We’ll be back in full force next season to pick up exactly where we left off! Hype hasn’t died and we’re still super pumped to do this, stay tuned for updates!

Yeah tough man, injuries do blow. Thanks for the update.

lowky feel like city of Bozeman could do something that Denver did with ruby park.

put the rec tax to good use

Yeah we talked about focusing the zero zone in lindley permanently but are worried the city would tweak and tear it down. Maybe I’ll send them an email over the summer and see if we can work out some permits! No promises though.

rec tax could certainly do a lot for the city though with how much they’re charging, lol

My vision of it strongly reflects Ruby Hill. I just saw WPrailyard posted they're hosting a rail jam at RH and that would be a dream! Unfortunately I don't think Bozeman would be very keen to allocate it's precious little open space to a dirty park rat thing, we will see. The key is proving we can be respectful and have real plans with supporters.

This season and school year sure turned out to be a shit show but we hope to make a lot of progress in the summer and fall to be up and operational come autumn snow. I've been working on some designs that will allow for different creative set ups with simple pvcs, ie swappable/lockable frames that let us make kinked setups and angle tubes securely. Metal is super expensive, so we would be relying on donations/free finds for those kind of features.

Zero Zone's supposed to maximize creatively, so thinking outside the box is key. If anyone has any ideas for features we should try to implement, let us know!

My neighbors got some junk and I can vaguely make out some metal rail looking thing, might just grab it tbh
