ZERO TOLERANCE for URBANS IN SUMMIT CO.

So we were hitting a rail in dillion a few days ago when a cop came rolling through. To many urban dwellers, this is a common occurance, but this was worse.

The cop SEIZED all of our equipment, including a $5,000 camera, 2 boards, and 3 pairs of skis, along with our shovels. They had us cuffed and in the back of their cars.

They let us go with a tresspassing fine, each at $240, and took all of our euipment. We can get it back in 2.5 months, after our court date.

The cops of summit county told us that there is now a ZERO TOLERANCE in effect this winter for any person found tresspassing or jibbing in Summit county. All equipment will be seized and theyre not fucking around.

Just a warning to those going jibbing on all of summits gorgeous rails, beware, the cops are after us this year.

what!!!!!!!!!! that is absurd!!!!!!!!!!! I dont understand how they can seize the cam, they are going to have a busy winter. what rail in summit where you hitting?
 
they can seize your equipment becuase they have to store it as 'evidence' against you in your court case.

and the rail was a steep tall down rai in the dillion marina, next to the dillion amphitheatre.

you need to come down to boulder some time and hit urbans with me

we usually get a crowd of like 20 kids that will pole whip us,

and the worst the cops have ever done to us is make us tear down the set up and go home!
 
same thing just happened to my buddies at the amphitheatre...three boards and a camera, same deal...if they figure out a way to get the gear back i'll be sure to let you know...
 
zero tolerance for hitting rails or boxes at breckenridge. We only set those up and rake the lips to look pretty, not to be jibbed. If I catch you, your pass is mine.....

holy shit. that's such a ridiculous situation/policy. what kind of charges are you and your friends looking at?
 
That sucks dude. Is it really everywhere in summit county though? I know there are tons of signs around the amphitheater and marina saying to stay the hell off the rails so maybe it's worse there?
 
tanner and fatman got their skis/camera confiscated hitting a wood rail in dillon. they are definitely cracking down and are now even more annoying
