Zero Gravity Brewery, American Flatbread, Burlington VT

Have any of you New Englanders been to American Flatbread in Burlington. I knew their pizza would be delicious because I eat it all the time, but I just recently tasted some of their microbrews. I am not a huge beer fan by any stretch of the imagination, and I generally really hate the taste of beer, but Zero Gravity (which is the brewing company that is based in the restaurant) makes some really good brews. Their dark ales are damn good.

I am most likely heading up the the Moat Mountain brewery in North Conway NH over break, I can't wait to see how their micros compare to Zero Gravity.

I also expect this thread to receive zero attention given the nature of the topic and the amount of exposure the regional threads get, but I would probably get shit on by a bunch of bitches if I posted this in NSG.

I love there pizza but i dont really care for the zero gravity beer. I prefer VT pub and brewery, which coincidently i was there last night. I do have a bias though, I know a few people that work at magic hat, i guess the owner of Flatbread uses the magic hat factory to clean his kegs and for other little things as well, however they will not put a magic hat line on tap in the restaurant, i think that stinks. But there pizza is awesome

yeah I've only eaten at VT pub and brewery. Last time I went I wasn't 21. The food was decent, I don't know about their beer though, I saw on their website that they have some award winners though. Probably worth a dram this winter.

when you go to North Conway and hit up that brewery go to the Flatbread there too, it's right next to EMS in the center. I think that one is even better than the flatbread here, I don't know if they are linked or not

Nope, they are different, but they sell very similar pizzas. Burlington is American Flatbread, NOCO is Flatbread Company. I like North Conway better. I've eaten there soooo many times. I have a house in Conway and I try to get pizza whenever I can. I like the atmosphere of that one, with the sunken in center area around the oven. Pretty cool. Also, I like how close it is to Zebs, I always grab a half pound bag of candy there after. soooo sick

heh AF is legit for sure, friend did all their POS hardware for them and they are one of his most legit clients.

Can't say the brew is the best I have had, but it's not horrible. Either way it's worth stopping in for sure.

Great place! I took a week off from the shop last April and completed all stops of the Vermont Brewery Challenge in that time. The Zero Gravity brews were a huge surprise in my opinion. Wound up having a pint of most all their work that day. A good day in Bton starts at Vermont Pub and Brewery for lunch, catching the 3pm Duff Hour at Three Needs, take a quick break and enjoy the surroundings, and meet up with some friends over at Flat Bread.

One of the best tasting, and easy to drink VT brews I found was the Switchback Unfiltered Ale. The new indoor sports center in South Burlington (may be in Burlington, it's just down 7) serves these in the tall RC Cola cups you would expect to get from Mike's Pizza.

Okay, enough with the non-industry chat for me :D Next time we make a trip up there it will include Jay and Stowe. Will try to meet up with as many of you guys we can!
