So, in a few weeks I might be goin to Zermatt Switzerland for a week. I was just wondering how the skiing is in general as well as the conditions as of now

I know the guys that run the summer park up there. It gets pretty beefed up. They've got a Zaugg dragon up there so the summer pipe is huge and good quality, althopugh the arvo son slushes the left wall a little. It's a great time of year to head up there apparently.

Zermatt is so fuckin sick, they have a crazy summer park and the village is the absolute shit, theres so much to do and getting there is an adventure in itself

so say i went there at the end of june how would it be? is it the best park in europe for that time?

BOGART!!

The glacier has snow 365 a year, the town kicks ass, no cars, tons of girls both local and tourist, a little expensive but there is a cheap hostel to stay at thay is actually kinda cool, or at least the people that work there are. As far as whether they have the best conditions that imeof year in Europe its a tough call, but year in and year out Zermatt usually is up there with the best. Got an extra plane ticket for a white boy from Harlem?

Either they don't know, don't show, or don't care about what's goin on in NS.

oo sounds sick..its funny cause my parents are taking me thinking that im not gonna go all for the skiing being its summer. and they were like yea. "yea i think you might be able to do a little skiing, but it might not be good".....thanks

i've gone a couple times. right now the conditions are probably good but not amazing. the whole trip will be sick, including just getting there

i stayed at a hostel there and it was a lot of fun and much cheaper, if hiking is your thing id recommend that as well but i was not fortunate enough to go skiing

When you ski there can you get by if you only know English?

I was in Zermatt in the first week of October many years ago. there was plenty of skiing (BP) before parks - the tram ride up is unforgettable as the carless town disappears on your way up. The train ride into town should be done in the dark for an added apprehensive moment!! English is widely spoken, everything is/was rather pricey. Altitude is will leave you breatheless. Take the elevator up to top - must do. sitting at the base of the matterhorn drinking a beer.. priceless.
