Zeitgeist

Repost x10. But really don't take everything in this movie to be fact. While it gets you thinking, it might not all be true.

It's very interesting, but I don't believe any of it.  It is completely fabricated, you can put together any theory you want with the right footage.  It's still very well done, and it's very interesting.

^^ To all of you who dont believe it, I had a sit down session with profs from my school to verify the facts. Every thing they claim to be true is in fact. All the religion is 100% bang on, and all the declassified incidents like the Gulf of Tonkin are now proven to be true. The fact is it is reality, and I've known it for a long time, I just felt this movie was especially well done... It was like " YOu guys want MORE proof?!?!" Ok let me shove the facts so far up your ass youll spew half remembered facts out your mouth to anyone who will listen.

if anyone suggests i should carry an id card or get a chip implanted in me im going to go start my own country. whos with me?

Um, you need like lots of money.

And they state in the movie

" Even if the gov't isn't responsible for 9/11, it would be the exception to the rule"

.

Yes it's good to question, and never believe anything to be fully true, just take the best info you ahve until better comes along. this is the best I have come across. There is more, such as Loose change, terrorstorm, etc etc, but this is a good summation.

very good movie! at the very least it will enterrain you, but its also good to question things that have been told over time

Things like these get scrutinized all the time by people far more knowledgable then we are. Though interesting and well put together if it held much credibility it would have become far more then an internet movie phenomenon. Contrary to popular belief the government isn't actually 100% big brother. If this thing was worth a damn more important people than we would have taken notice.

Oprah doesn't count.

^ they have taken notice!!!!

there are speakers all the time at universities and interviews on line.. The reason you dont see it is because of who controls the media Obviously c'mon, you have to get into the sub culture and then you will see all the people who are talking about it.

Beyond the influence of Pagan symbology, the rest of the film was highly assumptive. Kinda follows the same tone as the DaVinci Code.

They were talking about the Real ID cards on the news this morning, shit is FUCKED UP. I was in the other room but I swear I caught them say people over 50 do not need to carry a Real ID card. Is this true? And if it is, what the fuck?

I have it downloaded but I keep forgetting to watch it...hopefully i will now

The idea behind this was good and could have been a very interesting and thought provoking movie, however, it is riddled with inaccuracies, and any information taken from it needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Part one:

True, many religions do have similarities, and a semi-convincing segment could be done on it using only true facts, and making no assumptions. This however is not it.

The most blatant and one of the most damaging facts to the arguments is that Christ's true birthday is not actually Dec. 25. We celebrate it as that today because the actual birth date of Jesus was lost over the years, and the church decided to celebrate his birthday on that day to coincide with that of some pagen gods, in an attempt to make their religions similar to aid in converting these people.

This fact is one among many that this movie chose to omit, of fabricate in an attempt to deceive the majority of people, who as a whole have very little knowledge of religion.

here is a site that lists similarities between major gods and Jesus. Pick any that appeared in the movie and you are likely to find an inaccuracy. If you don't believe what you see check the citations, they checkout, and are far more reputable than that of zeitgeist.

Part two:

Ok, so we let WWI start, we let WWII start, we let Korea start and we let Vietnam start. Thus we attacked ourselves to start the current war? The only arguments that this part makes are arguments that have been debunked countless times from the loose change videos, and ones that are assumptions at best.

All that this part is is a blatant destruction of the films credibility and i will not wast any more of your or my time on it.

Part three:

Was kinda interesting, however due to the source i kinda doubt that it has any accuracy at all, and if it does then they should have let it stand on its own instead of destroying its credibility with the junk that came before it.

This could have been a damn good movie if they portrayed the first part accurately, ditched the bs that is the second and eliminated any inaccuracies that I'm sure exist in the third. But because they didn't any similar film that comes out in the future will now have an even difficulty proving their case. good job zeitgeist.

it def. makes you think, very contriversial.

i personally believe/agree with alot of this movie

and disagree with alot of this movie

not very well, regardless of if it is unconstitutional/passed illegally, there is precedent for forcing people to pay income tax, and until we have someone in the oval office who respects the constitution/individual's soveirgnty it will stay that way

I FINALLY decided to watch this and all im getting is about 5 minutes of dramatic music and pictures. This better be good

my buddy based a big research paper on the part about religion in Zeitgiest, he showed some of it in when he was giving his presentation, it was funny.

ha thats funny, i was about to do that, but my presentation had to be less than 10 min and i would have needed a lot more time

Haha, i like you're whole argument on assumptions, and then your whole part three is an assumption.

that was classy really.

"that i'm sure exist"

But really, why would the church try to fit pagan dates? i'm going to duck out on religion, because i can't stand any of it, but you're next two arguments are completely incoherent. You say it makes no sense to start attacks and trigger wars for ourselves but if you watched the movie, you would understand that wars make money, and the people in charge of the country are making money by going to war. It's a widely known fact that the gulf of Tonkin was a hoax.

And you're part 3 is even weaker than you claim the movie is.

Movies like this don't catch attention because people don't want to hear what they have to say. People have for the most part, learned to be content with their lives, and since they are content, are completley apathetic towards change.

Did you know google keeps all your queries and searches? Did you know the U.S. government is trying to obtain this information? It doesn't seem like a big deal, and most people will write this off, but it really is going to get to the point where if i search al quaeda enough times on Google, i might get a door knock by a man in a suit.
