Zeitgeist now makes sense to me

Earlier last summer I criticized the zeitgeist movie and naively argued the first part about Jesus. I tried to defend my argument with wiki articles and made myself look ignorant in the process. I now know that whether coincidence or not the facts presented in part one are true. The claims may or may not be true, but part one is not my favorite part. I have some doubts about the second part but the buildings falling like they did makes me at least question what I have been told. I think to make you question is the whole point of the movie. I think the third part is dead on though.

Discuss and if you have not watched it go watch it now

It says on the site to go out and find the facts yourself but don't just google and click on some crappy blog, they said you have to dig deeper to find the truth. It really makes you question more than anything. The federal reserve part is the best. "The federal reserve is about as federal as federal express"

i awlays find it interesting. from my experience most people who watch this disagree with some portion of this video but then like are just like omg yup that one part so true. iunno ya know

Its good for sure. Ya some of the "facts" might not be right, but the NWO is real, and their vision for global domination is real as well.

Now its all about figuring out how theyre trying to do it.

never late than never... next time do your self a favour .. do what i did Watch Zeitgeist on ACID...

lrn2simpsons.

It actually applies in the sense that, whilst some of the shit in Zeitgeist is true, most of it is bullshit. If you want to think that the government did 9/11 or whatever else, you can find evidence to make yourself believe it, regardless of weather that is the truth or not... Just like when people looked at the sun moving around the sky a few thousand years ago, it appeared obvious to them that it was orbiting the earth.

No, I'm pretty sure it's all bullshit. They never use primary sources, or even back up their claims. I hate that movie with a passion.

very entertaining flick, and before I did some lazy/half-hearted research, I was blown away by some of the "revelations"—particularly those around the formulation of christian dogma.
Unfortunately, much of the information laid forth in the first segment is at best, presented in a misleading way, and at worst, made up outright.
If you don't accept the claims as gospel and don't get to hung up on whether it's actually factually accurate (and aren't devoutly christian—or at least hypersensitive about your beliefs) it's a really fun movie. I repeat: a fun MOVIE.

zeitgeist encourages people to question their government/other institutions and think for themselves. that part i can confidently say i'm down with.

I don't believe any of those crazy conspiracy theories but there has to be tons of crazy shit we don't know.

Well the part about the other gods who share many traits with Jesus is true. Along with bits about the federal reserve.

Its just a shame that some people cant resist making a leap from "the government is corrupt and a bit fucked up" to "NWO omg conspiracy thermite explosions building 7!!11!!!1"

That's actually where I found the most inconsistencies.

For instance, they say that Krishna shared similarities. The only similarity is that Krishna was walking through the woods one day and was shoot in the foot by an arrow..near a tree. How they made the leap from being shot in the foot, to being nailed to a piece of wood is beyond me.

The other one is Odin. They said that Christianity borrowed from his story..even though the two religions started literally a world apart, and the story is not even close. For instance, Odin pierced himself with his own spear and spent 9 days and 9 nights on Yggdrasil above Urdarbrunn(roiling water of chaos) and sacrificed one of his eyes so that he could be all seeing. The only similarity being the spear(lange of Longinus) Odin's time on Yggdrasil was self-imposed, it was not forced upon him.

my threads for after school

this stuff is cool to me, you just gotta look at it with an open mind, and not fully believe anything
