Tommorrow me and my friends are geting snow from an ice rink to put ontop of his summer setup. Do they give you enough snow for it to even work?
 
yeah usually, i actually have a gold mine near me, cuz there is a place with like 5 rinks and they do them almost simeltaniously and every time i drive by there are always mountains of snow

 
yea man, what worked best for the kids i did it with. was put a tarp in your trunk and just pack it full of snow. or you can go garbage cans. you never have too much tho. get more than you need. it sucks to make another trip

 
the guy at the rink mear me told me we couldnt take any of the snow... it just sits in a little room or somthing and melts... ive gotta talk to the manager or somthing...
 
our local zamboni driver is dope. we call him up and arrage a pick up time. we show up in a truck and he unloads it into the back. sooo convenient.
 
bump, who else has tried this? How much ice can 1 rink give you after cleaning the rink?

It's like 90 degrees every day right now, I want to try it for a rail setup but I bet I will need quite a bit to last a day.
 
I have done it alot. It depends what rink size, adn how muchit gets used. The more is gets used the more snow. There is no standard amount for a rink to put out, it all depends. You should just go and check it out. Even in the summer when its 90 there is usually enough snow to set up a back yard set up.

snowgel seems like itd be kinda messy. kinda like soap or something. i wouldnt really want that on my skis/boots.
 
my rink had a good amount of snow with temps around 80 a month ago. im doing a summer sesh on friday with temp in the high 80s, i hope it works out ok
 
So do I just call and be like.........."I was wondering if I could take some of the extra zamboni snow off of your hands sometime next week for a snowboard rail jam?"
 
FUCK.........my ice rink has to like the cock up the ass........they dump the snow directly into the well.........thos cunts.
 
itd be sweet to ski all the sick skate spots near charlotte

theres like a huge penny statue thats like a bowl around it that everyone skates but you could wallride the penny
