Youtube's been hacked

Fuck man. I was just trying to get on there to catch up on some of my subscribed channels and this happens
 
HA! I just finished watching a video I've been waiting to watch for about a week now.

Oh, and yah, fuck Youtube. I hope their servers, and all of google+'s servers get destroyed

I highly, highly doubt it was hacked. Some people within anonymous may be smart but it's not like google and youtube are run by a bunch of monkeys (though recent events may lead many people to believe so). Just as many "brain trusts" on the other side of the fence who will probably clear this up rather quickly.
 
True, but weren't they behind that playstation online, it was down for 2 weeks and was bullshit, I have no clue why they did that, just wasted money and made them more hated.

But I don't really think youtube would be haxxed
 
Yeah, I meant that we can't use it, whatever happened, and that it was not YouTube itself or a glitch (it probs wouldn't be taking the piss then)
 
Trust me, google IS the internet, they have some of the smartest people in the world waiting to jus get internships. It wont be down for more than a couple days and im being super generous.

And im with elgato, there pretty much no way to "hack" youtube. Its a DDoS attack, thats really all anonymous is none for.
 
Anonymous almost always does DDoS attacks. I imagine their pretty savy in the hacking world, but from the outside looking in, they don't look all that crazy.
 
By "they" you must mean the 1% right? Because im willing to bet 99% of all the people that claim to be part of anonymous are just /b/tards and neckbeards. Any real hacking is done by only a handful of people. Aeast thats what ive learned from over 10 years on the internet
 
i'm pretty sure they do some other stuff to, the thing with anonymous is that anyone can help any particular op or operation or whatever if you agree with it. lulsec is another group that did some real hacking and did lots of stuff with anonymous. They infiltrate databases and such though from time to time but I think they mostly do ddos.
 
100% this, I see 12 year olds posting videos on how to join anonymous on social media apps, they think they're being heros by putting on a retarded looking mask and making stupid threats for no reason. But I'm pretty sure there are probably 1,000 actual "hackers" and most of them just use software for the DDoS and they don't really need to do anything

It literally said "internal server 500 error" and had a rectangle made up of a shit ton of numbers and letters. Iv seen it before, nothing special.
 
I actually switched to using bing b/c I'm tired of googles crap lately. Surprisingly, it's the same as google, but with less google+/annoying things
 
this is what I saw when I tried and saw it was fucked temporarily. It has the Server 500 error, that statement about trained monkeys, and then a huge rectangle or text and numbers.
 
R u guys saying that it was just a glitch? "Highly trained monkeys" is a joke right, so to elgato, ok it wasn't hacked but someone defo fucked with them...

I'll post a screen shot when i get home, 'twas nothing special really
 
I wonder with his newfound knowledge of cumpyootahs whether Gus realizes the myriad opportunities for successful XSS that the devs never fixed after I was ban'd.
