Youtube problems

hello,

i have almost 12 edits i have been editing on windows movie maker. i have tried to upload all 12 videos and only one will work. i no i did something to make it work but i forget what i did. anyways, when i try to upload the videos it says "invalid file format". i have gone to youtubes help page and none of the information was helpful to me. if any of you guys have any suggestions that would be great.

I'm a noob who uses movie maker too, so if you have the sidebar open then under 'finish movie' go to 'save to my computer' name it and choose the destination, click next, then go to 'highest quality for broadband,' or something like that can't remember though...
 
you need to go to file-->save movie file go throught the options if you want to but if you have decent internet speed just click best quality

save it to wherever you want, just remember where it is... thats the file you need to upload

most likely you are just saving the file you're editing which is a .MSWMM (MicroSoft Windows Movie Maker) which is only readable by movie maker and thats the file you can edit... it just need to be saved as .WMV (Windows Media Video) by following the above steps
