meh, the spinning physics suck, the animations look super gaper too. i like how easy you can fall hard and you eject from skis, etc.
 
i agree^^^ there are ups and downs to both this and shredsauce. Even though i like this a little better

We need a real fuckin ski game on a console already
 
I like this game better than shredsauce because of the animation in the air, it's not as robotic. and you can eject from your skis which is siick
 
i find this game amusing and it proves how freeskiing has grown. it makes me feel like i am skiing in real life.

the spinning physics suck? you can wind up for spins which is realistic and something shredsauce doesn't have, and when you let go of the spins you open up and slow down... stop complaining

The public custom courses are really sick you just have to sort them by rating or hits and you get the best ones at the top.
 
just came to post this, they're fucking ridiculous, pretty hard game at first though, too many buttons haha
 
The game is actually a ton of fun. The crash physics aren't the best but they're entertaining, and the animations are kinda cool, if gaperish
 
So i'm on a PC and download and installation worked flawlessly but when i try to open the game it says LauncherYRFreeskiII.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? thanks.
 
I'm having too much fun on the StepOnDown level disastering the really long red rail and just coming up short, like half the time the guys neck turn to rubber lol
 
After playing youriding quite a lot I think I still prefer Shredsauce. It's not as rigid, it's physics based so you can be more creative. However, I like trick scoring in youriding. I'm sorta pleased they haven't released contest mode yet, cos I have finals atm and I'm already way behind on revision... Which is why I'm on NS...
 
When I downloaded the .dmg on a mac it saved it as a file and then when I opened it it said "youridingwhatever may be an application. It was downloaded from the internet and will be opened by iphoto" How do I fix this????
 
fucking stuck at file 2/27 (27%) WTF IS THIS BULLSHIT. deleted and reinstalled all that jazzz. FUCK YOU stupid piece of shit ass game

If you go to FAQ on the website, it says the following:

I'm using a MAC computer and when I start the game, the download stops at 27%, what can I do?

That's because you either execute the game from the DMG file or you don't have writing permissions where you installed the game. You have to uninstall it and follow the installation procedure described just above.

HERE IS THE SAID PROCEDURE, AGAIN FROM THE FAQ PAGE:

How do I install the game on a MAC computer?

to install the game on MAC, you have to:

1. if you already have the game installed on your computer, uninstall it and clear your browser cache.

2. download the game installer from the website

3. open the dmg file

4. drag and drop the .app file to the Applications shortcut

5. go to the Applications directory

6. execute the launcher's game

The launcher will automatically check and update the game if necessary.

When the update is over, click the PLAY button to play!

Pretty fun so far, though a bit robotic. The game crashes on me about every 10 mins, but it's a beta so i'll let it slide.
 
Already did didn't say anything about PC just Mac and I tried reinstalling it and stuff still says the same thing.
 
From watching the video, this is what I'm gathering. I'll download the game tomorrow night or whenever I next have the chance, then develop a better opinion.
