Nobody in my area. Everyone at my school of 2200 listens to either a)lil wayne and wiz khalifa or b) Wiz khalifa and lil wayne

A couple kids who just graduated from my high school are in a band that's actually really good. They just released their ep on friday. Their name is Breaking News and they're on spotify and iTunes. Check it out

 
Me and my friends have been listening to this sick new group called Nickelback. The guy has a great voice and the guitar in their songs is dope. There's also this guy Skrillex that i discovered last week. I bet he'll be big soon.

The McLovins. Look em up. I'd embed a few songs but I'm on mobile. I first heard about them and got a CD when my cousin went to one of their shows a couple years ago. I guess they've risen a lot in fame and have even been recognized by Rolling Stone magazine.

for all you reggae/dub fans. ive been jammin a lot to dubskin lately after seeing em in february. theyre from Ft. Collins and pretty dope...

 
i just found this great band thats gonna get huge soon i think. they are called the grateful dead and their concerts are sweet. check them out if you get a chance.
 
ehh not really sure....never really got into them. i think a lot of the hype around them was because they were so young. i think they were all between 14-16 and they were playin some pretty technical covers at the time. look em up, i'm sure they are still around.
 
Double post, whatever. Dubskin is dope but he travels to ALOT of festivals. If your into the festival scene youve probably heard of him.
 
They're not really obscure within their own genres, but nobody I know listens to Porcupine Tree or Opeth.Also a massive Alborosie fan, who you've probably heard of if you listen to reggae.

Porcupine Tree=all time favorite band.
