Your Worst Ski Habbit

every jump i do, no matter the size. i have my eyes shut. rodeos, fronts, spins, all with my eyes closed. i land em too....i geuss its air awarness... i NEED my left ski on my left foot and my right ski on my right foot. and if the graphics are matching, so it continues to the other ski, i cant have them match up. i switch them and keep them thet way. mad OCD for thet. i also continually swing my legs on lift and place re adjusting my ski poles and i am also OCD with my helmet goggles and hat set up. NEED THEM TO BE PERFECT ON MY HEAD. someone taps my head. i gotta re-adjust. i also reach into my right knee pocket on the lift.... with out gloves, no matter how cold it is outside. i also have a habit of keeping a black or blue shapie marker with me at all times. with a peice of paper. i dont know why. but i do. another habit of mine is that i ski switch more than forwards. i think something is wrong with me.

this year i developed a new bad habbit. full blown gaper tuck on any in-run with poles sticking out all over the place.

i throw my head to start rotations on backs...leading to terrible technique

also being a pussy and not trying things due to the thought of breaking something and getting injured.

left/right ski have to be on the right feet.

two pole taps behind my back before I drop in.

lastly sometimes I make really weird/random noises when I'm in the air

all of these, and the..landing on one ski on a sketch as fuck landing and sticking the fuck out of it with immense strain to said leg.

Dont really have any habits other than pissing my friends off by suggesting "we should build a jump," even though 90% of the time I'm joking. But whenever I get the wind knocked out of me, I lie there making really weird sounds as I struggle to breath, and it sounds like a constipated retard. At least my friends enjoy it.

Whenever I bail on something underneath the chair for some reason im determined to make it look like i really slammed hard, so ill flop like a soccer player and yell a highly offensive word like I just had my balls chopped off. I REALLY need to stop doing that

i used to afterbang but then stopped cuz it was lame once wallisch copied me

naw but I used to double pole plant before a rail haha

Does anyone ever have the problem of tucking by sitting on your skis, and then your brakes get caught on each other and you can't turn/stop? It's kind of scary sometimes haha.

i have stopped now but when i learned frontflips i closed my eyes and waited for my skiis to touch the ground then opened.

skis MUST be on the right feet with bent chetlers, there is no way around that one. You just can't have 2 halves of an angry asian not connected at the nose

in addition to my previous bad habit;
on the inrun, especially of rails/boxes, i speed check, then i push with my poles to get optimal speed....

not exactly a skiing based habit... but i always forget to zip my pocket up after burn seshes, which leads to lost chillums on a regular basis. lost 3 in one winter a couple years back.

i do all of these, especially the noises. every time i spread eagle or daffy and make the craziest fucking noises

I always tend to eat my lip. Its the wierdest thing, I wont even notice it until someone says i'm bleeding. And then this results in HUGE canker sores that make it impossible to eat for weeks.

i dont think about my tricks before i drop so i end up usually doing nothing lol straight airs FTW lolwhen im in the air i also grind my teeth

If i'm at my home mountain, the goggles usually go on the forehead and the bandanna goes around the neck, but if i'm skiing somewhere i haven't skied before, or don't ski there often, the goggles and bandanna go on. really weird habit, i know

Oh and the random noises, that one I do ALL the damn time. Although i wouldn't consider it a BAD habit necessarily, just a habit.

my left and right skis for sure

i also have a problem with keepin my shoulders square on right hand turns, i dunno why

I found a fully loaded bowl in Keystone's Incubator once. So keep your shit packed away, kids. Don't bring glass pieces either. Bad idea.

Well.. for starters my phone has to be in the right pocket of my pants and my car keys in the right pocket of my jacket. if i bring a wallet it has to be in the right back pocket of my pants. pole straps have to be on, and the skis on the right feet. When i go on the lift i have to tap my skis to get the snow off and the same goes when hitting jumps. And when i over/undershoot a landing on a speedcheck i always yell something like "ffffuuuuck this is gonna hurrtttt!!" friends get a good laugh tough.

And my ipod has to be in my right pants pocket, with the screen facing my leg, and locked. Before I drop in, I also always pull the headphone cable, to give it some slack.

when i do the rail line i never plan out my hits, and on the rails i think "i need to do something"

so i end up doing every rail straight

I guess another habit would be not going a single year without buying something new, even though I don't need it.
