Your Worst Ski Habbit

im a big puss, but in a wierd way, i always speed check on an average size table and bitch outa spinning my first hits which normally results in a very unsteezing grab to landing right on the knuckle and double ejecting, then the few weekends i was at mt snow i hit the 60 ft table and felt comfortabl straightling into it and spinning first time, only a 3 but still better than pussing out on a 35 fter. i also crank my boots all the way down, then have to undo them everytime i get on the lift, it pisses my friends off

on the way to the park on EVERY run i find all the tiny bumps on the sides of the trail and 360 them, and on the gondola right before we get off we rock it alot and it feels like ur gunna tip over soo its kinda fun, and i 2 have a right and left ski, and a right and left pole (my more bent pole is my right 1)

knowing that if i dont lock my skis up there is a chance they will get stolen when i go into eat, how ever im always to cold to get my lock out and lock them.

Then i spend all lunch worrying about if my skis will be there when i go back out.

i should really stop and give the 1 minute to lock them up, i have a lock on me and everything.

making sure my buckles on my boots are symetrical. adjusting my goggles incessantly. adjusting my pole straps. scraping the snow of my skis with my other ski or pole whilst on chair lifts (then complaining my topsheet is scratched up!)

When i'm going through powder i tend to get in the back seat and then i get tossed around, when i was first starting out i would pop right before the lip of jump.

however many times I click the buckles on the right boot, thats how many times I have to click on the left boot. I also designated a left and right ski, but that's only because if I didn't the graphics wouldn't line up, and I wouldn't diss ninthward like that... gotta show off tha 9. I also pass without letting people know I'm coming up. I've almost knocked old ladies because they like to do wide s turns.

if i fuck up mid air, like known im gonna case it or overrotate or am striaght up sketchy then i usually have a higher pitched "iiiiigggh"... its funny to watch videos soemtimes and be able to hear that.

I have a bad habit of acting "hard" when I'm on the mountain and wearing basketball jerseys and pants that wouldn't fit Don Vito (from which I continue to get snow in my ass?). When in reality I come from a middle to upper class upbringing, have never been in a fight in my life, and would shit my pants if ever dropped off in any real urban projects area.

I also create make-believe "crews" with 4 or 5 of my friends and throw out gang signs everywhere someones looking, like anyone would actually know what they mean.

But in general I just act like a complete poser in a sport usually associated with golf.

i tap my poles together right before i drtop in, or while dropping. i black out in the middle of a trick,, really...only if im scared. i have to have my pole straps on...

I often forget my boots in my truck overnight and when I put them on in the morning it is like putting my feet directly into cold snow. And they are also stiff and uncomfortable for a few hours

whenever i ride fakie i put my goggels up so i can see better, not really a bad thing but its a habbit.

I always pick a right and left ski even if it dosent matter and if i accidently put them on the wrong way and notice i stop and change them. And when even doing crossed grabs I have a hard time bringin my other foot up all the way unless i really consentrate. And i never use my hole hand to grab just 2 fingers cuz i think im gonna drop my poles.

when im spining switch i always think im going too fast, even thought im not, then I don't ahve enought speed to clear but i'll hit it anyway... but this only happens every now and then

i look over my right shoulder when riding switch. so when i spin switch i look over my right shoulder coming into the jump but i switch over on the lip to initiate a left spin.

i would have to say fixing my coat and pants, like puling up my pants and jacket down, i do it alllll of the time, haha, and goggles fixing them too. then besides that i love skiing and nothing else bothers me!

I've had the same pole grips for the past six years. They're old and ghetto and look ridiculous with new pole shafts, but i just can't ski without em. I also usually have different baskets.

i have a left and right ski preference like most people and i also tend to play with the strings on my poles to much

I can only grind with my left foot foward so can rarely ever do c rails and boxes. most c rails don't bend like a backwards c.

I seem to land on my head a lot! I landed on my head in februari and broke my back when i was nollieing and caught both my tips. And in april when i could ski again(but prob shouldn't have),i did a 360 on my first run through the park, the landing was so soft my skis sunk in like a powder landing and i flipped over landing on my head AGAIN and breaking my neck. What a crappy season....

i never buckle my boots tight at all. only when im out west and doing a super gnarly run. but at my home mountain i always have them as loose as they go. i also love so ski really fast and go close to people that are skiing slow so that it scares them, but then i feel bad so i barely ever do it

usually i just suck but if i do jump steezily i'll be in the air and i will stop paying attention cuz i usually think somthing like "whoa im pretty high up this is sweet" and while i do this i loose balence and fall hard, on rails i dont pay attention to my feet enough, i always speed check and fuck myself over, and i have to spot the landings so one run is always wasted and i cant fix it i could keep naming habbits but i want to have some dignity left

id have to say bombing switch through intensly crowded family zones at 100mph with my fur hood blowing in my face almost taking out whole families

alot of times i'll forget what i was planning on doing right before i take off so i end up pulling a lame trick or just stait air.

I always put off my google before a jump but I realize I have to wear them when I jump... HUm lifting the other ski when my hand dont catch the grab I wanted to do.. so it looks like i'm walking..
