Your Worst Ski Habbit

i have to chew gum or else i cant ski kinda suck because when i dont have gum in my car i have to go out of my way to get some and i tend to love one grabe and do it over and over and over agin

When i first hit a jump to try and dial my speed in i usually end up thinking your "definetly hitting the jump this time" and thinking "i'm gonna pussy out the next time" so i try adn throw down my first hit.

usually ends up in a case and chiropractor the next day

oh, and skiing switch i have trouble looking over one shoulder, so sometimes when im just carving I'll only look over my one shoulder resulting in a massive blind spot

i cant ski without goggles but when i have to do a rail or jump i put em up on my helmet and i always gotta do the "snow kick off" thing in the lift lines

popping too much onto rails.

overshooting jumps.

knocking old ladies over when we are getting off the lift. i ski alot by myself so i have had to ride with some sketch-ass parties of old people. and somehow i get trapped in the middle of all of them.

well, i usually have left and right for my skis, but it's because of the status of my bindings more then skis which determins what ski goes on what foot.

that and i have a problem with going fast. i like it, and i've gotten in trouble from my friends for not going at their pace. i donno, i don't see why they can't just keep up.

i have right and left poles, which is due to one of them being bent slightly from when my friend fell on it in the lift line. forgetting to put my goggles back down after the lift, and fixing them right before the jump. and clicking my skis together on the lift to get the snow off, which results in chipped paint.

yes i always do that too and for photo seshs it totally kills the shots. its like wow, pretty good shot except it looks like you have a penis in your mouth

I have left and right poles and left and right skis....i tend to do a little ollie when im straight lining the first jump in the line too

i often forget to leave my poles at the rack and bring them into the lodge ... and i often hold my poles wierd resulting in horrible thumbs

i check my gogs, and then I also forget what Im going to through when im on the take off. this has resulted in some interesteing jumps

i spin early, like before im off the jump. and i dnt spin a full 90 onto a rail and end up going at like a 45 degree angle

i always have my skis on nthe opposite foot they were onlast time i was skiing, so both skis wear out at the same rate

i snowplow and lean back as far as i can when im lazy. i also stick my tongue out. and when im focusing for spinning off rails i lose concentration on what im doin, and hip slam the rail

My clothes are too big. And i used to do this thing, whenever i'd land a large 5, i would only ride it out for about 6 feet then turn around. i looked like a noob

hitting my skis with my ski poles to get the snow off and hitting the skis together chipping of skis is bad.

i have a habit of being to damn steezy jk

i don't have many habits but i find myself doing l80's on the ground without even realizing what im doing, its kinda wierd

messing up in sa slopestyle run and ending up not lanidng on the direction i wanted too (fakie instead of foward or the opposite). That always result in me being myself and thinking that reverts are the gayest thing ever in comps so I end up doing omething i didnt planify before ( i actually ficgure out wich trick to do about 3-4 feet from the top of the lip) and wishing for the best..

that actually happened in all the runsthat qualifed me for finals or semis in every comp i entered this year.

or when im dropping it i used to* always adjust my goggles, then adjust my pants and then pull down my jacket right before i hit the jump, same routine going into the next one. Same ski on each side is also essential.

same foot same ski, taking one pole off on the lift. being bad. landing back seat on spins. doing wayyyy too many spread eagles and 180s

o and taking shit to friends and people i know then going to hit the next rail or jump and eatin shit.

i always case booters, for which i'm notorious with my friends. i also somehow grease alot of rails the first time, and then struggle with them afterwards bc i think about them too much.

and yeah, when im about to hit any good-sized booter i always give a test ollie or two, and check my straps and googles non-stop

I sorta have ocd so im a checker. I pull my pants back out when they get windblown all tight on yer legs u know? pull down my jacket. ajust goggles and beanie. make sure there is not gap between my goggles and helmet.

I have to have the same skis on the same feet all the time. I do the tip taps on the chair and try and get a record high. I have to have my pole straps on or I feel weird. I sometimes forget what I'm doing right as I get to the lip and end up doing the most sktech things ever. Sometimes on rails it looks like I'm hugging a really fat guy.

like half the time i'm going to do a 270 out of a rail, or any spin off a jump or drop or anything, once in a while i second guess myself and for a split second think "do i really wanna make the effort to spin this?" and i end up only spinning like 180 off a rail or 90 or 270 off a jump and i land dead sideways and completely ruin myself.

i also always put certain skis on their designated feet. it's actually really bad to do cuz you'll always have one edge really dull and one edge sharper.

Pumping the inrun to much, getting to confident with a rail ive been hiitting all day, get careless and die.

When im going into a rail i always do a little hop before the lip, never on jumps only on rails, and i always ski with the same ski on the same foot, and adjust my goggles before any run

im so bad at judging speed im usually thinking about whether im carrying enough speed into the jump so much i dont concentrate on what im gonna do in the air.
