This thing. It's comfortable, pretty decent on gas, nice enough drive, reliable. Just winter tires, nothing fancy, perfectly fine for Calgary.

It's pretty rare that any AWD car is going to be insufficient to get you to the hill.

In my upper middle class suburban area about 1 in every 4 cars I see on the road is one of these.

I'm gonna have to second this. Lol

only ever been in the passenger seat of one on dry roads, but my god that thing was like driving on fucking rails. i wanna rip an r32 gtr through the snow so bad. the 4 wheel steering would make drifting a little awkward, but on the other hand you'd have so much grip

Dream- Lamborghini Aventador

Reality- '04 Subaru Forester

Never had a problem with the Sub's raw power and amazing awd

If you're decent at driving fwd isn't that bad. I'v done it for year on unplowed roads through the middle of nowhere to the mountains and back. That said I'm thinking of getting an old subaru forester when I get back. I need a new car and it would be perfect. Good size for festi tour in the spring and some awd for the winter

Right now I'm digging the bus though. Free staff bus to the mountain. I can hitch too. Not used to not having a car but not that bad. A little bit of a pain when the bus takes 8 years to chain up and get down at the end of he day but still decent.

My jeep has never let me down. Only picture I have of it on this computer, I was upgrading my front axle shafts and replacing my power steering pump.

Truck...my 2003 dodge gets me everywhere. Jumping snowbanks for days. Ground cleanence key. I have passed many a highsided suby with little effort. I love to have chains just in case. They will just make you go anywhere.
