Your typical NS'er

Simple thread/question i pose to you....

what is your stereotypical NS'er? As in, what do you think the majority of this site is like?

I personally imagine either a 12 year old wearing tall ts and baggy shit, with all new equipment....who sucks at skiing.

or

Some fairly young kid who has sick outerwear, maybe not all completely new gear, and is sick at skiing.

So that NS, is what i think of you all.

How about you?

a bunch of judgemental, secretly insecure, egotistical maniacswho make really funny jokes, and can sometimes ski

I know a few girls on here they are all pretty cool. Super chilled out for sure. Some might get mistaken for guys on the hill but thats ok *cough* Katrina *cough* cause they are sick at skiing.

girls i always imagine are either sick at park and decent at everything else.

or just clueless overall. I dunno why, i don't think i've ever encountered a girl who was great at bc stuff

someone who has a lot of prejudices... but for real, I do think that it's the unique caracteristics of everybody that makes the NS community.

white 17 year old who wears flat brim hats, big hoodies, relatively skinny jeans, carefully picked out high tops. on the hill rocks baggy shit, goggle strap under the helmet, and is probably somewhat decent at park because he spends every moment of every ski day in the park

oh definitely, but you must have some visuals that pop into your mind when you think of some ns'ers.

I think most ns'ers are a lot cooler in person than they act on here, and not as full of hate. at least the ones i've met are...

it varies from a 16 year old wearing xxxxxl who cant ski outside of the park and some powder hound that volunteers at there local mountains ski patrol

camo suits are the answer to everything

-if you get drafted into the army, go skiing in afghanistan and claim it's for a patrol. nobody will question because you have a sick camo suit

-if you're skiing and suddenly spot a deer you want to shoot in the woods, it will have no fucking idea what just shot it because you'll blend the fuck in

-if you're skiing and ninjas start chasing you, go hide in the goddam woods. they'll snowblade right by you (that's right, ninjas are avid snowbladers)

you must have read my mind or something because those are the exact 3 reasons why i really want a camo suit

young skiers coming together making the sport what it is, collectively reflecting on skiing and talking about random shit?

-young kids who have their rents buy all their gear

-16-22 y/o who stay in the park 85% of the time and enjoy baggy cloths, rap music, and weed

-16-22 y/o who venture in the park on some days when everything else sucks, enjoy baggy cloths, reggae music, and weed

guess which group im in

-uneducated homo who skis mission whose trails are steeper than everything ever EVER, enjoys dick in ass, enya, and heroin

i just imagine a bunch of people ranging from young kids to old dudes who dont give a fuck about how they look and just ski for the love of it

Hahah. I think there are a variety of people on ns. But a majority are late teens obsessed with the sport I think.

people in their teen years, who hate gapers, love crowbars, gangst stuff, hate salomon and love to ski mostly park. and alot probably ski at a really small hill with nuthing but a park.

packing sandwiches

just kidding probably similar to guys but with roxy or other ladies skis unless your my sister with gotamas

CRDIT GOES TO BIG SPENCE, I THOUGHT ITD BE RELEVENT HERE, I DID MESSAGE HIM ABOUT IT.

NS is kids form 14 to 23 years old, 70% of them wear tall tees, 85% own NS stickers and 90% of those who do, have one on their helmet. Some suck, some are average, some are amazing at skiing. But one thing that we all have in common, is that we love skiing!!

highschool kids, so weekend warriors by default. ski with exposed cotton thinking they are very trendy. love rails and are totally ignorant to the superiority of a snowboard for said rail.

there are two smaller groups I like to think exist on here. one being the 18-30 crowd who live in colorado and ski park all winter, while more in touch with reality, I still don't understand how they can think that skiing park and everything that goes with the park is the most enjoyment they could get on skis.

the other group would be what I fall in to... 18-30 crowd who grew up skiing park, saw the light and now ski pow pow all winter (with the odd park day thrown in for good measure), but just don't quite fit in with the TGR crowd...

eh, just had a break in school work so i was on ns...

and the other day while skiing, i looked around, and realized how different everyone on the mountain looked. I saw people in the park with ns stickers, and i saw people skiing bc with ns stickers. And it made me really notice how widespread ns'ers are in the sport, and thats a great thing.

and why is any thread started on ns? I'm not hating on anyone, just wondering what people think of other ns'ers.
