now, a serious answer. people have got the wrong idea about it and have ruined it. YOLO is the carpe diem for this generation or as jack black put it so eloquently "YOLO is carpe diem for stupid people" as its meaning has become lost. it isnt an excuse for people to of low moral fibre to do things that anybody else would regret or frown upon. it is a life mantra of not to waste your time on the trivial & mundane and do something different, interesting, something you've always wanted to do.
