Your thoughts and Views of the After LIFE?

So what all do you think will happen when we die just your thoughts on death and what will happen when we die no of us no for sure what will happen but just your views and predictions?
 
Maybe I'm just a pessimist, but I think you either rot away or get burned up. Beliving in an afterlife to me just means that you can't accept closure. Everything has to come to an end at some point, yet so many people hold onto the hope that their life will never end. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. There is no way to prove that either theory is the right one, so arguing over it will most likely accomplish nothing--unless you can get a deceased person to vouch for you.
 
I believe theres a heaven, hell and purgatory. I hope to go to heaven. If I go to hell, it will suck.

I think that heaven will have an endless mountain on it(not lfits, it keeps going). Where you will have whatever terrain you want, and you can't get hurt. So you could have some steep chutes and cliffs in sick waist deep pow, some pillow lines, then a nice relaxing groomer(carving can be fun), then the nicest terrain park ever with a ski/drive thru taco bell, popeyes, checkers and chick fil a...free.
 
the only problem I have with an afterlife is that it sort of makes regular life pointless. Thats assuming that the afterlife is heaven and perfect or whatever.
 
i believe that dying will be like falling asleep and staying asleep until the next time you wake up, which will be your birth in your second life. i believe in reincarnation
 
Nahh not for me at least; my life would be a lot worse if this was Hell, alot more boring if it was purgatory, and a lot better if it was heaven.

 
alls i know is that islamic people get virgins in heaven. why would anyone want to have to break them in? i would want some experienced chicks. but i spose you have all eternity to do it.
 
i think u just walk around in total black. xause your dead u cant see so the world u live in is black like on tv or somrthing
 
dude i already had it covered.

ok my actualy response: i have died when i was 12, i drowned and they revived me 20 minutes later. im not gonna tell you what was in the afterlife but i can tell you that i remember and it was bad for me, im trying to be careful from now on.
 
some islam guy came to my religion class and told us that. he also said u cant drink. suffer now prosper later
 
whatever you believe in will happen to you because when you die your brain will still function for a matter of minutes wich will span mentally for almost an entire lifetime or more, and during that time you will be in a sort of dream like state of conciousness  OR any form of conciousness will end and there will be nothing at all
 
i think... we'll find out when it happens... just live this life for what its worth, be a good person (use common sense) and if there is a heaven i dont see why u would be worried about getting there... i think if there is a god, hes not catholic or hindu or buddhist... hes just a good ol decent dude, that wouldnt send u to hell if u didnt truly deserve it...
 
I don't really "believe" there's a heaven... but it's a nice thought. But I do pretty much agree with rotting in the ground.

Reincarnation would be cool... PRO BUDDAH!
 
i dont believe in heaven, hell, pergatory, god, jesus, satan or anything else holy/christian. why the hell would you want to live for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever... i would much rather die and be dead, just finished, no more, non-existant, return to simple carbon structures.
 
if you really want to know instead of wanting to create a new thread you'd have used the search bar cause i know for a fact i've seen like tons of these things go by... i think one has like5 pages or so... so next time use the search bar instead of wasting space
 
I subscribe to the philosophy that our dreams are visitations and glimpses of what we will find in the afterlife. When we die, we just enter a cycle of never ending dreams
 
thats how i used to see it...i belive that thier is reincarnation but you don't remeber your past life at all. But if you think about that, then you could of been reincanatd many times but not now it...
 
well u see there are 3 leavels of hevan. and the outer darkness. the outer darkness is hell and to be pure and reach the top lvl u must be a preist or something and for the 2nd lvl u must be baptised as a mormon and practis the religion and for the 3rd lvl everyone gets in its not thatr hard. joseph smith knows allll
 
I think we are gonna get barried in the ground then reincarnate as tree's get chopped down get shredded up then people in the future will print the bible on us so that people will wonder the same question.

your brain stays alive after your body dies for a while adn thats probaly what you expereinced and why heaven can totaly be possible cus it can just a huge dream coming from your brain
 
thats the thing. maybe its hell for the people who have horrible lives, purgatory for those with lives that they are able to get by in but find no real purpose or pleasure in living, and heaven for the people with great lives....but then again i just made that shit up right now
 
oh yeah, i'm not religious at all. That makes it really hard for me to belive there's an afterlife. So does science.

I mean, it would be cool to have something to belive in like that but no matter how hard I try I just can't. It doesn't make sense to me.
