Your thoguhts on vactions in winter

my family wants to go some where warm this winter for a few weeks i don't want to at all because i will miss out on skiing and competitions whats your thoughts on it
 
i went to costa rica for two weeks in feb. last winter to help build a christian school down there and it was okay
 
Tell them you want to bring a friend. I honestly wouldn't want a trip with just my close family if I could be skiing. If you get to go somewhere crazy with a bud and enjoy the culture then definitely go.
 
have they decided a place? if your going to the ocean surfing could be fun to try. i really wanted to try it when i was in costa rica but board rentals was like 1000 bucks deposit which i didn't have
 
I think panamaw or mexico but we difinately would surf I just don't wanna get behind on my skiing and miss out on a bunch of shit
 
K if u do go im not sure if they are in mexico but they are in costa rica u have to get treats (i think thats what its called or something like that.) its an ice cream sandwich thing with like graham crackers or somthing and caramel chocolate ice cream THEY ARE AMAZING i bought so many and food is pretty cheap there compared to here. except they have a complete lack of good chips besides nachos. So ya thats my food review of costa rica haha
 
and they also eat horse there. i was eating at someones house and i didnt really know what it was i was eating exactly but i ate anyway and found out it was horse after! tastes wierd
 
i am going to mexico this winter break and im SO stoked its gonna be the sickness hella hoez everywhere almost naked and being drunk all the time i cant wait
 
i once spent the month of February on a beach in FL.... it was one of the most memorable times of my life..

personally ide say quit your bitching, your parents are going to take you somewhere, a luxury many people dont have...

besides a week on vacation is probably going to be more fun than a week at your home mtn... you have the whole winter to ski...
 
convince your parents to take you somewhere to ski pow or let you stay home if comps are important

but sunny vacations never hurt anybody
