so what cameras do you all have? i just got a nikon n80 with 20-80 and 70-300 nikkor lenses. it's illmatic. what's your setup?

my parents had a k1000 but the light meter is shot, i wanna get it fixed so i can have a film camera in addition to my digital but they tell me it would cost more to fix it then to buy a new one

 
i think youre parents are pulling your chain. my k100 had a bad meter, and it waas fixed for 40 bones at a local shop

I'm not sure what an n80 goes for right now but check out bhphotovideo.com for the cheapest prices same goes for that lens. I got a 70-300 mm for about 290 it is so sweet.

 
Leica, aha, no kidding, really a Contax 139 Quartz, tight camera even though it is from 1981, it really doesn't matter if you take good care of it. The only thing is I cant take sequence's, unless I can find the 23 year old motor drive in some used department, but I doubt it. Zeiss 50mm, Sakar 28-200mm, Vivitar tele-converter and Vivitar 28-70mm.

canon eos 5 (euro version of the A2e). 5 fps motordrive unboosted. very nice. rather bulky but im not bothered. 50mm 1.8F lens and 35 - 80mm 4F lens. almost considering getting a fully manual that will work without batteries. so i dont have to worry about batteries dying in the cold. with the pentax you might be able to get away without the lightmeter by either just guessing or by buying a cheap external one.

 
anyone know a good online store that has a new 50mm f/1.8 II lens for sale....i order one and my camera from keh.com but the lens already got sold so i have no lens now...im going to the carrieban in 2 weeks...and i want my fucking lens...and bhphotovideo is sold out too...wtf

minolta SRT201. its an old dude but it takes sweet pictures. I have a nikkon 50mm lens and a nikkon 50 to 150mm lens. Basic setup but it gets the job done.

(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)
