Cause they were all just called a pickup. Tacoma and t100 were introduced around 95. Then they dropped the t100 for the tundra.

wish i could say i hate toyota..but i've wanted an old taco for as long as i can remember and a t100 even longer than that, which is a shame because i've never owned either

the jeeps i've owned were all pretty damn tough and reliable, but in my opinion nothing comes close to the reliability and toughness of an old toyota pickup

my neighbor has an old taco that he must have had for close to 15 years now, i swear i've never seen him to anything but absolute basic maintainence and zero modificiation and the thing still drives better than some new cars..its crazy

ha my buddy just bought an 87 for 800 bucks and it runs like a champ. Jeeps are pretty solid too, I just rode in my step brothers once on the highway(wrangler) and it felt like it was all over the place. They're great in the mud and rocks, I just don't like em so much for road trips.

yeah old yotas were bombproof, even I don't want one of the newer ones though. All made here with shit parts anymore, lost the whole appeal of the japanese truck for me. Basically why I bought a 98 t100, still manufactured in japan then.

they are absolute hell on highways..even when my tj's were stock they were miserable to drive in over 60 mph..forget it when you start puttin on massive tires and jacking up the cog

Ever had it checked for frame rust, they had a recall you know. that one might be over the 15 year limit now though, and they won't give you shit if you bought it after the recall was announced like 2 or three years ago.

If it's clean though, great truck for sure. I highly advise dropping the bucks on some bfg all terrains or cooper discoverer stt tires if you haven't already.

I had a 98 taco til I sold it back due to frame rust.

I have a 2000 Chevy S10 Blaze, a 1999 Subaru Outback, and a 1981 Tioga Fleetwood RV. I don't think my gixxer counts as a ski vehicle tho...

2008 civic.it slides when it rains. I actually found a 2000 jeep cherokee sport with about 60,000 miles on it for 7 grand, may buy that and put a lift on it
