Ok, everyone loves to critique ski films. So, lets here what would you include in your film. You can get any skier you want to ride for you. What music? What locations do you shoot? What type of lifestyles? Etc.

 
Skiers- Mercon, Morrison, Candide, Boyd Easley, Rory Will, Tanner Hall, Skogen,

CR, and Dorion.

Locations- Mammoth, Breck, Copper, and just cuz i live there, Mount Snow, and

a bunch of urban rails and kickers that we made.

Music- Deftones, Avalanches, Static X, Ozzy and Gorillaz

I would have all park parts, and not so much big mountain. I would have big mountain

for Morrison, but it would be like all those backflips and grabs he does off like 80 foot cliffs.

 
Well my movie would kick ass. It would all be about hucking and huge backcountry booters.

It would have Candide, Collins', Pierre Yev Le Blanc, Ostness, and a bunch of other insane hucksters.

Music would be Floater, Deftones, Unwritten law, System of a Down

 
It would be all about smoothness.

i would have a bunch of east coast unknown people, like dylan hood, jp solberg, dave gigravio, jeremy gasowski simon dumont, me and my brothers, a bunch of people from gould and waterville, and bigger people such as steele spence, anthony baronowski, pep, eric spriet, brendan buchar, scott hibbert, jon kozody...im sure i can think of more, but i dont feel like it

the music would be a lot of punk, and some hip-hop, like the music from propaganda...

as for locations, i dont care...all over the east, a couple comps, and at like parkasaurus and superpark and the such

 
I'd Have: Jon Olsson, Mickael Desheneaux, Tanner Hall, Candide, Morrison, Dave Crighton, Eric Pollard

It'd be at breck, whistler, copper, Alaska

 
It would be all about style. Not the biggest spins and flips, but more smooth tricks.

The skiers would be: Eric pollard, Mike D, Jon Olsson.....

The soundtrack: Pivit, Swollen members and Thrice.

me and my friends with a few pros along the way... filmed in the East, mostly urban rails and hits, sandpit gaps, and a load of ghetto shit.

Oh wait... that's what the movie is, you'll have to check it out this summer.

it over here It would also include a section of me and we would have to go back

over seas for the urban stuff coz it snows oin town about twice a year in NZ.

New Zealand is getting a super pipe next year YAY!!!!!
 
We should get all of the Southern Ontario Jibbers (Dave, Doug, Darryl, ect...) together and make a kick ass video of the not quite famous people yet

my music would def be, bob marley, slightly stoopid, hendrix; voodoo chile would have to be in there to, some of my own stuff to; mostly folky blues stuff with a really strong beat. and it would all be massive big mountain lines so flowing it would like a spiritual experience just to watch the thing

i would make have more lifestyle stuff in my movie and have an ocassional part that has them getting preparded to do something crazy or something (do you have any idea what i mean?) Tanner, evan, steele spence, boyd, michael deshmex sp?? for music i would ahve some punk and some rap

mcconkey, morrison and nobis for big mountain. not the alaska kind though. more like mcconkey´s seg in ski movie.

close camerashots, helmcams, from the side...

i´d have about 5 rails in the movie, steele spence on rollercoasters, enormous bridgerails... just extreme ones.

jon olsson, mike d, candide thovex, cr johnson, julien rl for the tricks. mostly backcountry kickers and odd jibs. noone throws the same trick. the one that can d-spin the bet d-spins...

every trick known to mankind would be thrown.

switch d-spin, switch mistys, switch corks, bio 1260:s. i´d force CR to do a 1620 and jon olsson to do a 80-foot switch 180 grab...

originality, inventiveness, insanity and no repetition for about 30min. that´s enough.

Whatever you do, do not put your Newschoolers.com hoodie in the dryer!! They will shrink. Just hang them up and let them air dry.

MY perfect video would be a combination of the Helsinki part in REfresh, and the park part of EDIAS.

As you can probably tell from the lineup: big booters, insane urban, other steezy stuff.

Locations: Breckenridge, Mount Snow, Tahoe, Whistler, Trysil, Are, and some Utah bc with some PC as well
Music: im all about good flow and upbeat so most likely some mashups from HathbangerJitta on the trackand a lot of unknown rap
if were talking who to edit and film it i would pick Jon Hatveit and Duncan Lake

I wouldn't want to make the normal super-conventional movie that everyone seems to do.
Riders: Pep, Pollard, Benchetler, Blake Nyman, Mahre, Dylan Hood, B-Dog, Downey. Somewhat well-rounded crew, and I'm a huge fan of nimbus. Would love to have a sick jump segment and some signature B-Dog rail smoothness.
Locations: Obviously I'd shoot at Hood for the amazing backdrop and super epic spring sessions. Urban in my hometown of CALGARY, and I'd like to shoot the pow seggies in Whistler backcountry and Japan. Wouldn't necessarily be a super-long movie, just quality all around, and keep it interesting.
Music: Lots of mellow reggae, I like Tanner's music choice in his movies, but just a little more laid back than that. Plenty of acoustic stuff, lots of acoustic guitar for sure.
Lifestyles: I'd love to have a segment that showed what the skiers did when it was just a regular day in the park. Like, instead of putting all the bangers into an edit, throw something together that actually portrayed what it was like when they were skiing. I'd also like to have an edit showing the skiers doing their other hobbies/interests, whether music, biking, surfing, art, or whatever.
 
great bump. at first i didnt realize how old it was and i saw people saying they wanted seth morrison, skogen sprang, and mike douglas, but mostly shooting urban and park shoots. also in one of the posts they talked about east coast unknowns like simon dumont.
