Basically post how you think skiing is split up for you personally, importance wise, what you enjoy the most for yourself, what you enjoy the most watching and what you do the most....and post the three skiers that you Look up to the most and that most influence your own skiing style.

My Part:

Skiing is,

10% Rails

30% Big Mountain/Backcountry

30% Big Airs/Jumps

15% Pipe

5% Foolin Around, Buttering etc.

10% Just normal Skiin around the mountain

My Fav Skiers: JP Auclair, Boyd Easely, Iannick B.

i have never really thought about breaking skiing up into different parts.. i guess majority or what i spend my time doing is backcountry... so that would be like 80% and everything else would be like 20%

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
skiing is everything you can ask for in life! style, air, speed, extreme, control, strength, accuracy, technical elements, ...

I'm 25, made 5 years in international and i'm making a french business school. Why? i hate this stuffs but to be able to ski , i need the bank!!! and i'll get it !!!

my girlfriend is always angry coz' she can't see me during winter: i told her: 'you will ever be second in my life after sjiing!!!' but she's ok with that!!!!

If you don't ski, your life doesn't worth it!!!!!!!

25% pipe

15% screwing around

Never done big mountain, its always looked cool but oh well, I live in virginia. Prob gonna change those percentages since this next will be my second season with twin tips.

Pipe is the only thing good about our mountain but are park is nice, i just suck at it, we have about 16 slopes so no backcounty, and i get board waiting for people so i just do butters all the time

you can't really break skiing up...

you can't go out skiing and say, i don't do moguls, i don't ski pipe, i don't ski powder, i don't drop cliffs, i don't do rails....yea gotta do it all, they are all connected.

i dunno if that made any sense.....but i jsut didn't like how you were splitting it up into percentages cuz there is only one, you're either doing it all, 100%, or you're cutting yourself short.

my home mountain is 700 ft. tall so its 99% fucking around .5% park and .5% rails and 0% pipe because we dont have one. (i live in Maine)

i look up to people that seem to be enjoying themselves.

sometimes when im running water to wash dishes or something, i think about how lucky i am to have such simple access to running water and how some people will never know such a simple pleasure.
