Everyone is randomly throwing thoughts out in threads all over about what they saw at the IF3. Here is a thread.

Chronillogical: Only saw the last 15 minutes and of what I saw i thought it was decent.

The F in Life: I don;t think that anything should have been showed at a premier if it wasn't the full movie, and I didn't think it was really much of anything as I remember.

Magic Moves: One of the top 5. Jon's segment was unreal. Real professional.

PWN: As I remember after watching and while watching this was that it was a shitty attempt at a TGR movie with some park ridding. I will get to plehouse soon but it was on par with save.

Real Time: Another one of the top 5. The filming was amazing and it was just amazing.. thats just how it goes.

Idea: Although I have an opposite opinion of the maker himself, the movie was more then i thought it could ever be. The shots of the switch ridding in the pow, the butters, switch switch switch switch and more switch... was switchin fantastic. Another of the top 5

Save: Phil Phil and Thomas are all good guys. But they can't make a movie. Well they can and they did, it was just a short as whiteshine and skimatic, it claims to be 38 minutes, but half the movie was environment stuff. I really respect how they pushed the global warming thing and about saving the industry. The segments were short. I wanted to walk out durring bibby's part. What was he skiing to, eminem? something like it anyways... I'm just really off of plehouse after skimatic and save. Raymond didn't kill it either which let me down i was waiting for something epic.

Enjoy: Enjoy was good. It was mid par I would say. Nothing amazing, but nothing shitty. It is hard to respect a film company after you notice they mirror shots to make it look better, its like cheating. Meh for rage.

Yeah Dude: Yeah dude... the commentary was sick. Sound track was cool, and pulled off well. Ahmet fucking KILLED it. Good movie. Another top 5. Everything about this movie was great, not to mention a full 70 minutes of it.

Lost and Found: Another TGR movie. You can pretty much predict that at any time in you are watching a shot of someone doing some big a burly down something steep and deep. TGR always throws down. And Marc-Andre; man the entire time i was watching his segment i had chills of warmth going through my body. It's the cinderella story.. this guy is my idol. Watch it and find out.

Believe: The final of the top 5. The snow looked so much softer and fluffier in the intire movie of constant pillow to pillow to pillow to pillow ..... A bit short compared to the others, but it was jam packed of good footage. Tanner pulled it off, despite what we all think of him. Kye's skateing part was cool too.

What do you think? (I left out look it up, on air, beaver tale, stop go stop, imhotape, and wanderland because i was sleeping after a sick night of partying prior)

what meow?

you must have seen a different movie. Frank's segment in SAVE was the saving point of the film for me (no pun intended).

see that'as where we dont agree. Ahmet sure spun a bs 360 on a dub kink and shit. that is sick.

But Frank never used a jump and ollied like a mad man onto every rail without flailing at all and his switch on tails over the rail was rediculous. I sdidnt see anyone else do that before.

Ahmet did some crazy switch ups and i give him respect for that. And without taking anything away from him, I dont think he could do the same stuff on a rail with no lip onto it.Frank, on the other side threw down with some tech stuff on a rail with no jump without spinning as much as ahmet did.

Final argumetn is: they both killed it, they just did things differently.

listen to this man. Absolutely no jump onto rails is ridiculous with the tricks Frank was doing.

Switch on tails over is nuts and one of the sickest tricks in any movie played at IF3.

I must agree with you about Believe. Despite my opinions on Tanner, he really did pull the movie off, and the music was great, fantastic pow shots, skiing off japanese roads, and stuff. It also shows my home in it... I watched it, got to the bit Ian provo was talking about Vancouver, and recognized my house, and went "HEY! THATS MY HOME!".

I have yet to see the rest, but I enjoyed Believe.

I'm getting Yeah Dude & Idea, along with Save.

Anyone got a review of Seven Sunny Days?

went to the last 2 sets on saturday night...

enjoy - meh. good skiing, didnt really like how they cut it. really jarring, fast paced. the trailer had me expecting something better.

yeah dude - nice change for PBP, solid stuff. could have even tightened it up a bit, but overall i liked it.

lost and found - i didn't see anomoly last year, but really enjoyed this. great big mtn, and they stayed away from park, which is good cause tgr cant do park. loved sage's headcams, marc andre.

believe - skiing was great. i could watch pillow skiing for days. could've done without the voice overs. they just sound forced and way too serious/dramatic. overall i thought it was great though.

also bought idea and watched it the night before IF3, which was a mistake. changed my idea of what a ski movie should be. i agree with the dude who said it didnt get me overly pumped to go skiing, but it just felt like a skiing dream the whole time. but damn, the music and cinematography is top notch. the shots of them floating over the perfectly groomed rollers early on really did it for me for some reason.

only seen yeah dude and believe out of those and id say believe won due to the amount of sick pow but yeah dude also had some sick shots

before you guys get you panties in a twist read this:

The intent for this thread was for everyone who has seen the movies is to make a review for them. If everyone did this there would be much more clearity and OVERALL impression of the ski movies. Before you all jump to hate on my review, its MY REVIEW. MY OPINION. Instead of making a post of hate, why don't you make a post of YOUR review? If we got a solid 20 personal reviews, anyone who had not seen a movie would be able to get an overall impression on the movie. So honestly before you guys talk shit on my review make a review first. Stop the hate, help the site. Ced, keep this post, delete all the other crap and hopefully we can get something going in here to help everyone out?

Chronillogical Review: Remeber I am from the east so I think it made the movie that much better.  I loved the format of the movie, it was in the form of month segments as opposed to rider segments and i think the way they did it has more flow.  The filming was pretty sick as well as the editing but a some sots were kinda of mediocre.  In my personal opinion the riding was top notch for an amatuer movie and kept me entertained the whole movie.  The snowboarding also gave it a nice touch if your whatching it wiith some snowboarder friends.  The soundtrack had a little bit of everything form rap, to classic rock to some techno ish stuff.  I think it was very well done and for only 12$ you get 2 movies its a steal.
