Your Job and How much a week

i work at a local supermarket and make about $160-$170 a week.the work is boring as hell but it's money and it's easy.

skiing doesn't pay for itself.

it blows my mind that people do that.$30/day for 16 hour days?thats $1.87 per hour. i would never do that, even for a job i loved, including rent and food. that just seems so absurd. i work as a supervisor at starbucks for $10.40 an hour and i still feel like i am underpaid for the amount of work i do. i work between 24-30 hours a week and i am in uni for 15 hours a week (class hours, not including homework and projects)

yea i didnt really know what i was getting into, also the management said that we would make about 1200-1400 altogether a month with tips, especially for me because i was working with horse, taking people on rides, thus more responsibility and risk, FALSE. on top of taking care of 14 horses i was expected to help clean guest cabins and cook breakfast for cooks and dinner for staff...

i ended up not staying all through the date i told them, end of august and peaced at the beginning instead. it took 3 months for me to realize that it wasnt going to improve...sucks but its fine. made a bunch of really cool friends

I work at Papa Murphy's, make $8.50 an hour and work roughly 30 hours a week. Harder than you'd think but it's cool, and I smoke with my manager on the daily.
BTW today is the last customer appreciation day, $4.99 large pepperoni's, you know you want 'em.

I wasn't in the hole. I got laid off in august and had enough money to give my roommate septembers rent so that I could get out of my lease, pay for the trip back to minnesota, have all of my september expenses paid for and was able to buy a hd screen for my computer that I happened to break while moving. (I need it, I make websites).....
I was in the process of building my nest and had gotten about a month and a half saftey net.
And in regards to spending everything... I pay $800 a month in student loans.... After that and taxes I was left with about $1800....
No need to get feisty, I'm pretty damn responsible.

My pay ranges from about 600-1200 a week. Depending how many jobs there are for my office. I work for an engineering firm testing foundations for buildings, and soil etc.

i work as a busser at the olive garden. i make 7.25 an hour plus tips. on a good night, ill walk out with a hundred in cash from tips

and i get to eat as many breadsticks as i want

Well I'm currently unemployed due to being a full time Universtiy student, but I have a secure job from May to September at a Pulp Mill. Bleach plant field operator, 48 hrs a week....$1,500 . More if there's a sunday involved because those babies are time-and-a-half.

Bass fishing. Can vary from losing up to a couple hundred bucks in a weekend to making a couple grand in a weekend. Depends on how well I do.

I just got hired at a convenience store, today!! So I'm stoked about that. I don't know how much I'll make a week though, I'm starting next week.

Best thing about that: I got hired by Text message during my Biology class :)

About 50k.

But 1 of them is a short term loan and is $200 a month and then there are 2 more private ones that make up another bulk of it.
Only 20k of it is government... so im working on consolidating that. The rest I'm stuck with.
Once I consolidate I'm still looking at over $600 a month, but the short term loan is paid off in december. Then I'll be down to $400 a month... Still a lot.
