Your Horribly Realistic Bad Dreams

I want to know who else has had those shitty bad dreams that seem to go forever and they're nothing but anus the entire time.

For example; I felt like I dreamed for 6 hours straight last night about myself finally, FINALLY, getting to have a shred on my brand new skis but once I got to the bottom of a run the bottom of my sticks had the dirtiest and most gruesome core shots I'd ever seen - like somebody had finger fucked a tub of margerine.

Post your most horrid dreams NS

I once had sleep paralysis where I thought a devil was whispering in my ear and I couldn't move. Shit was scary. And a few times over the past two years I've woken up thinking there is a snake or spider in my bed for a few seconds and I have to get up and turn the light on. It's fucking weird.

Duuuude, I've heard of sleep paralysis, that sounds disgusting! How long did it last?

I get the spider in the bed trick heaps often too, worst way to wake up.

lasted about 10 seconds. I could hear myself screaming but since my entire body was pretty much paralysed no sound was actually coming out and it was just a muffled scream. Shit wasn't fun.

I get sleep paralysis at least once a month. And have vivid nightmares once a week. I've just accepted it i guess.

Aside from the awful "about to fall and smack on the ground" dreams I had one recent one. Around 530am I dreamt ISIS was around my house and that I woke up to one member opening my closet door with a fucking AK and they were in the trees I can see out of my window.

A few years ago I remember I was skiing a setup at my hill and I went off a small jump but unless I put my tips down I couldnt land, so I panic and keep flying like 100ft and eventually land on a hip transfer, woke up thinking I ate shit or something.

Had a dream that I was walking to my house, and my neighbors pitbull started attacking me. It was super vivid. It was biting me, barking super loud, blood flying everywhere etc. Then it started attacking my face and I woke up in cold sweat. Everytime I tried to close my eyes after that I had visions of the dog barking at me before gnawing on my face. I was awake for the rest of the night. No idea why I had the dream. I've never been attacked by a dog or anything.

We had a heap of us head to a festival over the New Years just gone and it was about 40°C which is fucking hot for 3 days and we got proper loose the entire time. Once we were back, most of us were suffering from gross dehydration and sunstroke plus the low pits of gloom you get after a festival and one of the fellas said he woke in the night, couldnt make any noise or move, but in his body he was rocking himself side to side as hard as he could to wake his girlfriend next to him so that she could wake him out of it. The whole time he had brutal flashing light pulsing through his eyes in his head but was stuck for ages in that trap

I don't think you thought that post through. A dream would imply you want to read my posts.

I used to have a re-ocurring nightmare that is difficult for me to describe. It was when I lived in my previous house, so I was 6-10 years old.

I would see a big tangled mess of wires and stuff, like a big machine. It would make these brutal, loud noises. Like an amplified lawn mower or the sound of a screw driver...super terrifying. There were no real life aspects to this dream. It made me afraid to go to bed, wake up screaming... And then it stopped.

I have nightmares 3-4 times per week. They fucking suck. I can hardly remember them when I wake up but I usually end up screaming awake and waking up my whole apartment lol. Fuck nightmares. They can eat a dick.

One time I had a dream that I was Arnold swasnager in Conan the barbarian and I was in this Egyptian like building and I step on the wrong part of the floor and some girl yells No ! and then it ended and I had that dream twice.

I was not done lol.

Anyways, I always have dreams of people dying or people being alive that are dead in real life. I've had a few dreams(probably considered reoccurring) where I was in a car that got hit in a head on collision. You can't feel anything in dreams and I'd always be like wow that could have been a lot worse. Only to look over and see my dad/friend/brother dead in the seat next to me and then screaming ensues and I wake up. I also have had dreams that my dog and my grandpa who both passed away are still alive. Or I relive their death. Those ones are the worst lol.

I've also had plenty of dreams where I'm trying to run away from an entity but no matter how fast I run I can't get away. These are definitely the most common ones for me. I have a lot of dreams where I get injured/die(technically almost die cause you can't die in your dreams) doing things. Like I'll be skiing and doing something and all of a sudden there is a tree or a gaper in the landing and I get seriously injured. Or I'm involved in car accidents/plane accidents etc. The one time I had a nice combination of breaking my leg and then getting chased by an entity and ultimately failing to get away haha.

So um yeah, fuck nightmares.

I had a dream both my mother and father died

I forget the context but I remember I woke up sweating and almost crying

This was when I was like 7 and I was scared shitless

Man i cant exactly describe this either, but i used to have a recurring dream like this, it was like a massive machine thing with heaps of wires and machine like tentacles high in the sky and it was so loud in my head and everytime it would attack me i would only just dodge its blows. I used to wake up feeling exhausted from the constant on-edge feeling!

I feel sorry for you, genuinely. Waking up from a dream sounds pretty grim. I put it down to a diagnosis of too many shitbag gapers in your history, RIP

I used to have a lot of night terrors when I was younger.

I'd say the worst that I remember was:

I went out into the kitchen at night at my old house to get a drink of water and the light above the stove was on. My grandparents dog was for some reason following me. When I went to go back to my room, before I rounded the corner to go down the hallway that was dark the dog tensed up and started to viciously growl at something down the hallway. All of the sudden my grandfather came stumbling out with a slit throat and blood going everywhere and then I woke up.

I woke up with every bad emotion you could think of after that. And the worse part was my grandfather was in the ICU at the time having just had a heart attack.

shivers

jesus christ dude, that's what horror movies are made of...

Have had this reoccurring dream, over the past 6 or something years, where while walking down a very familiar stretch of sidewalk from my old middle school, I start to run but as soon as I speed up it's almost as if gravity turns 90 degrees. It starts to pull me back and no matter how hard I try, using all my strength, I can't step more than a foot or two without sliding backwards and its almost as if everything is in slowmotion. Usually my brother is on the sidewalk ahead of me calling faintly in the distance telling me to hurry up, but sometimes it's someone else close to me. It always ends up with my brother or someone else trying to help pull me towards my house, but it never works and even if I seem to get a few feet forward it's almost as if everything rotates around me and I end up in the same place struggling and crying by myself in slow motion. I never end up getting to my house only less than a block away and it just seems as if I'll be stuck there alone forever.

Spooky

Been happening less recently, but I've had it ever since middle school (18 now)

Not really that scary of a dream but it stuck with me..

So I'm just sitting at my kitchen table, eating a cookie that's shaped like a car. For whatever reason, the cookie is refusing to enter my mouth, like I'm literally slamming this car cookie into my face trying to eat it fit whatever reason.

But everytime I fail, the cookie gets heavier and more yellow, I keep trying harder and harder to eat this yellow cookie then suddenly it turns into liquid and I begin coughing..

.. And I wake up from my dream, there is blood all over my face and it was entering my mouth. My nose was bleeding heavily so I can only assume I was punching myself in the face as I was dreaming??? I'll never know

Once I went to school on a Friday. Everything happened per usual, nothing out of the ordinary, except I worked super hard. Got home from school to go to work and was planning on skiing some night laps at the local hill after. So I went to work, nothing out of the ordinary and I'm driving to the hill. Obviously I'm stoked as fuck cuz I'm about to go skiing, then I get into a head on collision and wake up to find out it's Monday in September, I had to go to school and work that night, and there was no snow to ski. It fucking Sucked

I had a dream fairly sumilar to this except i pulled out a shotgun with an extended mag and blew em all away

When I was younger I had this dream that my house was taken over by these wolf type people (like dogs standing upright). Anyway I mostly remember them taking me to the basement and having me tied up in a chair. Its one I always remember every so often, which has led to other dreams of random dogs that look crazy mean slowly walking past my front door/windows on the porch. And I love dogs!

The other night I had a dream that I was walking back to my dorm and had a ton of booze in my backpack while walking back from a friends house. As soon as I got to the door of my building this lady came out and stopped some guy that I was walking with. I just walked right past and she started to yell at me saying that she knew what was in my bag so I just started trying to run away. I tried to sneak around to another door which worked but once I got into my room I realized my roommate was the one who snitched so I locked the door so he couldn't go tell anyone. I woke up the next morning thinking the whole first part was real.

That dream I had (3 days ago) where I thought I had a threesome with two chicks... I don't think they were that hot and I believe they were chunky. However that is besides the point. The horrible part is waking up and realizing I didn't participate in any sort of three some.... damn

My nightmares don't happen often but they're super realistic. Like vivid and things that could actually happen. No Devils or monsters but like my family dying, GF cheating on me, shit like that.

I almost never dream (at least that I remember) and can't remember the last time I had a nightmare.

I did have a series of nightmares about witches when I was a little kid. I had them for about a week and there were credits the last night I had one and then they were gone. That's the only one I actually remember, but only vaguely. The credits thing stuck with me. Ha ha.

Another bad dream I had (not a nightmare) was a few years ago. I dreamt my brother got his g/f (at the time) pregnant and then married her and I only found out because he changed his status on FB. When I talked with my parents, they knew too, but also didn't say anything. I woke up pissed that no one told me.
